Skills Menu Filter In-Game

I would love a filter to show all skills, but remove skills that have been trained to V.

“Can train now” and “Have prerequisites for” are similar, but I would like to see all skills that have not already been trained to V.

I’d like to be able to tell which skills I have injected and which ones I haven’t. Currently there is no way to distinguish an injected skill with untrained prerequisites from an uninjected skill with untrained prerequisites in-game.

Seriously?

If you look, Small Projectile Turret is still training to 5, in fact it has 3d 18h left. Now look at Small Artillery Spec and Small Autocannon Spec, the two skills that require Small Projectile Turret 5. It’s crystal clear which one of those two I have injected but don’t have the prerequisite trained for and which one I don’t have injected. One I can add to a queue, the other says I need the book.

What did I say: untrained prerequisites. What you are showing works for skills which can be added to queue (i.e. the skill must have had prerequisites already trained or the last prerequisite(s) is/are added to queue). If you don’t have those conditions met, there is no way to recognize an injected skill with untrained prereq from an uninjected skill with untrained prereq. Just inject a skill which you can’t immediately add to queue, and see for yourself.

Why would I do that? I have specific training goals, and the discipline to carry them out to completion.

If you’re dumb enough to willy-nilly inject skills that you’re not planning on adding to the queue immediately, that’s entirely on you. I can’t even conceive of an instance where this idiocy would be applicable. I’ve trained over 20 characters in my 20+ years of Eve, and never once couldn’t figure out if I had already bought a skillbook.

Learn to plan better.

That’s not an argument. Just because you can only think 1 step ahead, doesn’t mean others can’t think 10 steps ahead.
