Slowdown when alt tabbing to different client windows (multiboxing)

Hi all. I’ve been experiencing a slowdown of sort everytime I switch my client windows between my two characters. The slow down only happens for about 2 seconds everytime I switch windows (neither windows are minimized, just on the background or inactive). My clients are in windowed mode. It happens both with and without Eve O preview. Also, it seems to happen only in abyssals.

For reference I have a Ryzen 2600 with 16gb ram and a GTX970…anything I can do to fix this?

I’ve tried that, still the same. Seems the slowdown also happens outside of abyssals but with shorter duration (less graphic intensive?).
