Yes, the character’s standings are visible in the linked information.
For context, though, Broker Relations V and Accounting V already reduce the combined sales tax + broker fee from 10.5% to 4.875% at zero standings. Perfect 10.0 faction and 10.0 corporation standings would reduce that only another 0.5 percentage points, to 4.375%.
He also has Trade V, Retail V, Wholesale V and Tycoon IV, giving him 273 active market orders. Only 32 short of the maximum possible 305.
So yes, standings would improve him further. But a character with 6M SP concentrated in trade skills, 273 market orders, and essentially all of the major skill-based tax and broker-fee reductions seems fairly reasonably described as a trade alt.
Thanks though, buddy, for your helpful reply. Making an offer?
1.5082 thats basically zero standings.. no this is not a “trade alt” when people are looking for traders they want standings and low broker fees, lest they come and find us at the USIA to fix the standings.
standings don’t affect sales tax, strictly broker and relist fees.
The base fee is 3.0%, so Broker Relations V has reduced it a lot. Perfect standings only reduce it to 1.0%.
So presenting 1.5082% as though the character is somehow barely functional as a trader is a little silly. He already has the core trade skills trained and has reduced it 75% of theoretical maximum. Standings would shave off roughly another half a percent.
Saying it’s not a trade alt is a bit like saying a 6M sp toon with 4M sp in gunnery that doesn’t have motion prediction V is not ‘really’ a combat pilot
If you still disagree, call the character whatever you want.
LOL I just caught the part about the ‘service you provide’
So the obvious deficiency you’ve identified is a standings grind that your own service charges tens of billions of ISK to provide. Is that right?
So your position appears to be that a 6b trade alt is somehow incomplete because it doesn’t already include a service worth many times the character’s entire asking price. A service that, by sheer coincidence, you happen to sell. RIIIIGHT. lol
Trade tax should be below 1.2% otherwise you gonna lose a lot on taxes if we really talk about large scale trading which is required for the valid “trading alt”. In any other cases where you sell NPC loot you don’t bother a lot on standings etc.
My 2 cents … This toon is sold at SP price and is reasonable considering bidding started at 6 and he has a bid already. If he had the standings people ask for, it would be around 30b for that sp and standings, not 6 it is now. Buyer can just buy it, get standings done with usia or whoever else willing to run, and trade.
30b to 6m so character with standings? Wow. Didn’t know they were worth so much. Station corp high standings, or both corporation and faction standing. How high we talking about here?
