Now I’m struggling to login - each time I try and login, it says ‘The pilot seat is already taken’
is my character still floating in space, in some instanced version of the NPE? how long before it’ll auto-logout?
Open a support ticket under “stuck”

If you want to play immediately, chose another char slot after login and start from scratch with a new character, while CCP is solving the bug with your first toon.
