Iā€™m not so sure such a feature is a good idea in EVE. I can imagine some people in the EVE Discord would love to get such useful intel on other players.

You are right. This should absolutely be avoided. BarterClub is either new to the game or does it on purpose to lure people into giving intel.
There is even a sport going on to shoot down people live broadcasting what they do.

This. I was in a group that specifically targeted streamers who entered our region, especially after one of them said we were all AFK botters. Their corpse is one of my most favourite posessions.
