CCP instead of nerf ship you should buff all other ship. Buff everything and keep buffing until balance. Buffing is better than nerf.

Ok, so get rid of mining, industry, any thing to create ships.
So, now you have to purchase ships to use everyday if you don’t lose them.

you get one free frigate every day. have to purchase the mods $.50 each mod to add to the ship. Then, if you lose that frigate, you have to purchase another one that say same day for 2. and the price of the mods are now .75 each.

does that sound better than having mining, industry PI etc.

Small irony in the fact that ive played so long that i remember the buff of both plates and dc’s so that ships wouldnt die as fast, and now they are dying to slowly :rofl:

Bridging the gap between capitals and subcaps: nerfing caps and buffing subcaps is functionally equivalent. Of the two options, nerfing is better because it prevents inflation and is therefore better.

It feels bad but you just said it accomplishes the same goal so there’s nothing to feel bad about. Like I said, nerfing prevents inflation.

I disagree. Thinner capitals (both from weaker resists and weaker buffers) are more viable capitals for brawling. Dreads + Subcaps vs Supers in particular. They only have one Cap Booster module now so they can only hold their ground for so long without fleet support.

Even subcaps got thinned out a bit from resists, making them easier to gank and making brawling more viable from quick ganks. BSes didn’t suffer as much thanks to their HP boost.

Thinned out BSes + Caps are sexy for brawling. Boosted T2 short range ammo makes it sexier.

The changes in this patch are radical - metas will be forced to change to adapt. What is true now will not be true later.

If your intention with this release was to infuriate everyone then It’s worked.

Why don’t you guy’s actually play the game like the rest of us do and then just maybe you will understand how terrible this patch really is.

And Loki gets hammered in patch, which is a big ‘oway!’ because with web bonus and 2 slots for salvagers it was (is?) the best tool for conduits hands down.

Can you spend some time on PVE as well?? Otherwise all the high-end PVE you designed to bring player challenges will be trash.

I don’t even use guns on loki - only hams. And no web as well… no need for it.

Oh you think so? Most camp are made by corps which are proved they are strong anough to sustain in system they are camping. Look at this https://zkillboard.com/system/30004979/
It require substantial amount of powers to fight with this guys, because all their neighbors are OK with them. So if you are part of small active(i mean really actve not just good KB) PvP corp you are just there. And if you are single player you are doomed to lose time. It is ok to lose ships if you are playing alone but making those loses just wasting of time is bad thing in my mind.
But i am agreed about citadels it makes playing in sitting style more easy. And creating content more challenging.

One thing it could lead to is forcing more corps to spread out and distance themselves from non friendly corps causing more wars or conflicts to spark up. Let NPC’s defend for themselves would be kind of how the Pirate factions defend their own fleets with diamond fleets.

I agree absolutely, pretty sure Eve Devs have ABSOLUTELY NO UNDERSTANDING of how their game is played.

Burner missions were intended to be done solo which is why they’re missions offered by Agents, just like the Epic Arcs.

Pirate FOB’s and Triglavians are intended for Fleet Ops. Maybe some players do run them solo but the majority of players don’t actually mess with them because the risk outweighs the reward. CCP has got their head buried in so deep they can’t even see that and just keep adding more risk to game content.

This new ‘Surgical Strike’ change is a massive blow to running all types of PvE. If they didn’t want players doing FOB’s and Triglavian content solo then they could have changed that content to be more like Sansha Incursions.
