Are you going to remove the XP loss when dying on T3Cs now. Since you keep swinging the nerf hammer. This is not balancing…it’s literally just nerfing the Loki into oblivion. A PG reduction to 550 makes it worse than a Strat now. Please show me a useful fit for a Loki w/550 PG. Why use it when all you do is lose XP when you die? Some dude is going to say “then don’t use it.” Easy to say, when people put it in their skill que and have literally been training for it for months. At least take a balanced approach but you literally just made this ship pure garbage. Complete nerf hammer swings - you always do this you don’t balance you just swing the pedulum the opposite way…PUT SOME Thought into your patches!

Actually gate camps are fine because you can come back and break up the camp, drop them, etc. The real problem is citadel spam combined with local. As soon as someone enters local the roaches all scurry to their citadels and hide. At least gate camps offer the ability to attack them if desired.

This is an incredible release. CCP continues to impress me over the past two years with their willingness to disrupt long entrenched gameplay to make the game better for everyone, including - ultimately - those entrenched (after a short but soon-to-be-forgotten period of butthurt). Whereas CCP would only make superficial changes in years past and the mantra to visionaries were “lol CCP isn’t going to change anything STFU and deal with it”, CCP is listening to those whose ideas carry merit, even if it ruffles a great many feathers initially.

It is comforting to know, for example, that CCP is closely monitoring one of the threads I’m in per very early reply. Maybe they’ll take me up on my suggestion raised as part of that thread that motherships not be able to permit fleetmates to reship while tethered… no ship should be able to provide a fleet support of any kind, including use of ship maintenance bay, while being immune from harm - that’s ■■■■■■■■. (Before anyone gets overly butthurt with the suggestion: they can still eject ships from/scoop unmanned ships into their ship maintenance bay while tethered to permit depositing and swapping via that mechanic, so the change isn’t fatal if a fleetmate wants to reship at an Upwell POS that mothership is too large to dock at to exchange ships inside, for example)

Edit: a few minutes after I posted this a CCP member liked it, meaning they’re actually reading replies. Give CCP more credit guys. Whereas in the past they deserved little, they’ve done much to earn it in the past two years.

This update is foolish at best. ANOTHER NERF TO SUPERS WOW. Stop nerfing them please god. Go with the heavy bomber idea. We’re all sick and tired of the nerfs - they don’t feel good. Buff subcaps instead some way.

You shouldn’t have nerfed tank, it feels bad. You should have buffed damage across the board - it feels good and accomplishes the same goal.

Also I think the line of thought that this will bring brawling back is wishful thinking at best. Most of Eve has moved and is still moving in the direction of kitey nano ships. Look at these nullsec doctrines that don’t even have points.

The trade off for being nano kitey is you do a little less damage. (unless your a mach - please nerf machs) Now you have indirectly buffed the damage of nano fleets and nerfed the tank of brawling fleets. I understand you gave close range ammo a buff, but it doesn’t matter - this ammo can’t hit the kiters.

This update will just further push brawling doctrines out of the game.

Logi won’t be any less important, it will just be less effective. If the ship getting reps has lower resists, the effectiveness of those reps is lower too.

you put mining player to 00, you think 00 product much isk to cost, you nerf equipment… don’t put money in this game like WT, they just want to nerf everything, put money in wows! they don’t nerf golden ship!!!

Basics do not means any “good” it is just traditions. I am talking about make game more engaging especially for new players. Look at FW it becomes pure PVE because there is guys who are spining one ore two system and sitting in place and it is okay for them, but they makes no moves just waiting for someone to come and lose ship. And for someone to come it will cost much more of time then for them to blap him. You see - making PvP requires more time then screwing it.
So game induces passive playstyle - why to do something if it is so much hard?
What i am seein CCP is doing they are just trying to increase speed in which resources are leave game. Increasing inflations means good prices for PLEX - less RMT and more sense in paying for subsription. Not sure they arent going to ruing something in way

You, mister, are wrong. In the Emerging Conduits, there are 3 waves, 1 and 2 are relatively weak and there is no point to fly at full spead to reduce incoming damage. 3rd wave is hardest, and most of the time it is required to warp out to survive, then warp back in at full shield-armor and finish what is left, and that final part also does not required any movement since only few of trigs are left and they pose not much danger. My fit cost ~2B, all best green and deadspace modules, except most expensive Invul Field.

You’d think they would enjoy reading all this, apart from having to moderate it and actually punish toxic people. They all are doing what the typical Eve player prides themselves on doing, HARVESTING SALT!
