Maybe fly the ships first before parroting others saying they are destroyed.
My Marauder is as mission capable now as it was before. Ok a PvP Vargur won’t have as much tank, but neither will anyone it’s fighting so it can DPS tank better.

maybe for you ,but its like buying a car some people save money to buy older model because they like it ,you can say the new model is same like old one but that persoon saved his earning money for that old car because he or she like it ,so with so big change atleast they can give players their SP back so maybe they choose other ship or path

Well, it make sense that people are upset when something they trained for month is nerfed.
I perfectly understand that.
But on the other hand, you can’t decide to never update the game, because every time you change something, someone, somewhere, is gonna have this exact problem.
Refunding SP might be an idea after nerfing a specific ship or class of ship, why not. I wouldn’t be against it.
But what do you want to refund here, when the update basically affect the entire game? You’re not gonna reset everyone SP’s.

SP is refunded when a skill is removed. Or radically repurposed. It is not refunded when a balance change to numbers is made. This is not a big change. It’s just some numbers changed.

Gonna take some gank ships out for a spin. 
There’s really no reason for this thread to still be active, the current date is past April 15 and the Surgical Strike patch has already been implemented.
I dont know did you used your glasses when you played the game or had too much to drink ,I have all 4 marauder and skill for all ,and did some times lvl 4 mission on them now they lost huge EHP and resistance ,also marauder was always gank magneet but now is real easy ,6 gank cat (15 to 20 million ) kill marauder ( 2 to 3 billion ISK ) in high sec ,dont come here BS nothing changed and I have marauder ,atm I took my rattlesnake 10 times better than marauder ,also cheaper and more DPS,they made with this patch marauder useless when you can archive more dps and better survivality with pirate BS

Lol Code likes to pretend they have no affiliation with their bigger family even at one point claiming to have broken away from Goon. They and their supporters go around trying to downplay just how much effect CODE does have and what they are doing and who they answer to like they did there.

LOL!!! I have enjoyed roleplaying with other corps and alliances in Null and even in WH space which was a lot of fun even if I did lose my ship it was still fun.
Anyways on to what I really wanted to post my Skiff suffered a 10,000 EHP loss due to these changes which may not seem like a lot but since I am used to working around sleepers and other such rats and occasional WH explorer and such that 10,000 EHP is significant. the original EHP was 97K but now it is around 86K. My rattlesnake lost a lot more I just don’t remember what it was before the change because I have been doing mostly mining but I do know that 135K was not where it was before. Used to run Triglavian incursion and only having to duck out a time or two to recharge my shields and repair since I run them solo but now I don’t dare take it into those sites because of that loss of EHP.

At first read I had to take a double-look at the day’s date to make sure it wasn’t April 1st. There’s not much more to be said that hasn’t already been said. All I am going to say is this (in terms EVERYONE will understand):
I haven’t played in a little while and I was excited when I read the email announcement of big upcoming events and changes (as I always am). I double-clicked the launcher and excitedly watch as it starts patching the updates I’ve missed since I’ve last played. I literally had my bank card in hand to update my billing info (I Omega or nothing). Then within the launcher window I spy the link to the patch notes and decide to click to make sure I get all the info on whats changing. I was reading for 30 seconds when I felt it… a gut punch. I closed the launcher. I put my bank card back into my wallet. I navigated my browser away to something else.
Enough said.

I made a mistake by taking out three year subscriptions. Never again, guaranteed! I’d rather pay more every month (or not via russian VPN sources, they have it almost half cheaper), so I can take a break anytime.

Flying an insanely expensive bling fit through the largest gank capital in the game and expecting to not get ganked?
Yeah that isn’t Code being a threat, that’s whoever that pilot was committing suicide.
They would have died before the changes as well.
Edit, Now I’ve bothered looking at it, even more so they were committing suicide. It wasn’t even buffer fit, active fits are far easier to gank. Let alone making a real travel fit for it including maxing out the low slots for buffer as well.

surely people will want to experiment though with the changes?
Given that the stated intent and the effect of this are at odds with one another (make fights bloodier, reduce stalemates vs simply making non-combat ships that much easier to gank) I wonder at the veracity of CCP’s developers in general.
It would not have been a difficult thing to offset the reductions in shield efficacy in non-combat ships by boosting shield effectiveness in them.
Instead, we’re left with yet another “Reward the gankers” patch.

The equation is simple if your strong you will win 1v1 if your weak you will loose if you are weak then you will bring 2 vs that 1 if you think that is still not enough then you will bring 3 and so on the more you bring vs 1 the weaker you are so basically you are showing off massive weakness.
It’s not a something to be proud of.

My biggest rattlesnake loss was this one
only 27 on 1 but I did take a few with me had a bunch of bubbles deployed and almost escaped till I got rammed by a Mach back into the bubbles. LOL was a fun fight. Jumped into it to get some friends out who had gotten caught by some gate campers I landed blew them away and my friends got out and then I got hit hard and was laughing the entire time.
