In just about any case the only reason a ship two sizes larger than yours can kill you is that you let it.

Very few are fit with smart bombs and you don’t actually need to get into sb range to be under the guns of most things as a frigate. You’re better off fitting a nuet to deal with small numbers or individual frigates.
