Additionally…
You can migrate the active shield fit to mostly any gun boat. Like the Tempest.
The idea being get yourself a nice shiny X-Type large shield booster, a shield boost amp, an invuln T2, cap battery, and a MWD on the Tempest for example in the mid. It has one less mid slot than the Mach. But the Tempest still has low slots for 3 Gyros, 2 tracking enhancer T2’s, andd a T2 dmg control. The rigs can be cap rigs, or mix cap and plug resist holes, or just put dps rigs in. Really depends on your skills and implants.

The medium Shield booster can be swapped out for a large, or extra large. It’s just a matter of cap stability and how comfortable you are with boats that are stable vs. unstable. Implants can go a long way to helping with this. The shield booster will mostly be the bulk of your fit cost with any active shield fit, aside from the hull itself.
It’s the same concept from all of the gun boats tho, with active shield tank. Balancing cap stability, ehp, and choosing MWD or AB based on how you like your fit to operate. Hope this stuff helps!
