That mixed feeling about the current state of Eve

So now I am retarded, and the Moneybadgers shoudn’t have the money IWI provided them because of Special Rule Freshly Coming Out Of Nicolai Serkanner’s Ass… I am done discussing this with you. :woman_shrugging:

Are you suggesting that even while they knew that those casinos where engaged in RMT they should have not banned them because of the war. If anything then THAT would be taking sides.

If you violate the EULA you will get removed no matter the situation in the sandbox as it was the case here. Why do we even have to tell you this?

It would probably have meant that PL started backstabbing Test a month later (as per https://old.reddit.com/r/Eve/comments/96biwl/how_this_war_will_end_and_issues_in_the_new_titan/) so I doubt it would have made much of a difference in the end.

Aa I already said, and will end this here before derailing the thread further, CCP’s decission favored a faction how and when CCP decided to act.

That action led to the current threats of dominance by a single faction, as pointed by the OP, and that faction turns to be the one whose ass was saved by CCP’s action against their enemies.

I’d say you’re confusing favourism with justice.

CCP didn’t favour a faction. Another faction decided to take matters into their own hands and CCP corrected it. We call this justice. Favourism however can sometimes be injust and thus shouldn’t be confused.

It’s simple. CCP’s an integral part of it, just like all the people flying around. Everyone’s decisions, choices and actions cause ripples. It doesn’t matter whether it’s about standing right in the middle of it, or trying not to stand anywhere at all.

Deal with it. It may be virtual, but it is life. Now we can either keep staring ourselves blind at this, or we accept it and go back to the original topic.

CCP did not make a decision, CCP enforced the rules of the game. They removed a cheater and yes that had an effect on the sandbox, but the decision to break the EULA where made by the people who where in the end banned. It was that very decision to break the rules of the game that is the cause of it all and not CCP’s enforcing of the rules.

Here is an interesting post

The interesting part is about the skill injectors. Effectively we live in an EvE world where skill and time do not matter that much anymore, but pure numbers dominate everything. Number of Titans, number of Keepstars, number of people.

Different classes and costs of tools do not matter, everybody can just field the best possible, then the outcome is only based on who fields more. No compromises nessesary anymore. Who can’t is out.

Well I play a character and don’t boost skill. Maybe that’s silly but it makes it more fun for me to agonize if wait times -)

An alliance losing a war because such attitude, will not be happy … if you can’t field a Titan, fax, and subcap on day 1 in a fight your are kicked.

I will not join an alliance then. I don’t EVE to work. I EVE to have fun. I can have fun without being a part of corps or corp alliances.

We need a new type of anti-capital portable ammunition for small fleets to counter titan drops

No, we don’t.

ok then, go for the mine is bigger than yours game

They are PIBC. You don’t need to literally control the space to control it. You can simply beat up the enemy to the point where everyone rather quits or hides in wormholes.

PIBC doesn’t even own 100% of nullsec space, right? They just … control it. And that’s exactly what’s going to happen here.

You already can kill a titan with subcaps. You just need a lot of them. We really do not need “magicly kill titan ammo”.

Which alliance has such attitude?

No, not a magical weapon that instantly kills titans, a weapon that makes you think twice about dropping supers on anything that comes around.

We also don’t need that. Just tackle the ■■■■■■■
