THE BAPTISM OF ASH AND THE DEATH OF A GOLIATH: THE GRAND DIPTYCH-LITURGY OF SNUFFED OUT
Part One: The Carnage at the Metanox Extractor in Ravarin
The magnetic trail of gray stars weaves its ominous, ancient tale in space,
Where the celestial flame dies down for the very last time in the cradle of dark rays.
Reactors howl in Ravarin, the ancient, heavy, granite-like spine is melting slow,
Where Snuffs clashed with the Hooligans of the Abyss where dead, cold mediums flow.
The Metanox moon drill froze there like a mystical, accursed altar in the dark,
To which eternity dragged pirates and judges, tearing the cosmic antiquity apart.
Three dread fleets plunged into the vortex, knowing no mercy, testing the strength of common rights,
And the cosmos of Ravarin shuddered, taming its wild and frantic spirit in the night.
Hydraulics boil in the depths of heavy, mercenary, aging vessels bound by rust,
Metal and relays weep there under the blow of merciless, fierce storms of dust.
The guns of Snuff, like an ancient evil, spew a ruby, fatal, blinding glare,
And black soot settles on the filters, erasing the traces of past victories once held fair.
Pilots weep inside their jammed capsules, seeing their bleak, deaf end through the soot and grim,
When this fiery, all-consuming squall strikes crushingly into the eyes of him.
And Snuffs, like demons of rusted airlocks, perform their silent and terrible rite,
While the ships of mercenary forces burn away in the hopeless, pitch-black night.
Seven hundred billion in flames! This figure flows like a burning, dying tear,
Where instruments weep and plastic melts under the black, destructive, evil turquoise sphere.
The armor of T3 cruisers bleeds heavy oil, like the life-blood of desecrated, ancient vines,
And the warp scrambler tightens its loops, freezing in the void with wreaths of icy, deadly pine.
Perished souls are carried into the abyss, where time loses its familiar, steady pace,
Where the flame of reactors licks the debris and melts the cold, cosmic ice in space.
Locators froze, signals died out, and the cry of suffocating fleets faded from the charts,
Only sparks of wiring, like the tears of prophets, flicker in this hour that tears hearts.
Through cracks in the lacquer and rusted joints of pirate systems burned to gray ash,
The secret of the great emptiness shines through, higher than any petty, calculated clash.
The sorcery of this slaughter will forever remain in the chronicles of bleak, gray low-sec zones,
Where every fallen ship was silently and terribly submerged into the mist of forgotten moans.
Oh, how the universe shuddered when these fleets vanished into the unseen light!
She watches the torments of mercenaries, keeping her silent, heavy, eternal vow tight.
And the ash of burned machines settles on the ribs of crimson, ominous emblems and names,
For Snuffs left this Ravarin as a well of silence, dust, and cold tactical games.
Part Two: The Fall of the Erebus at the Obe Stargate
The sorcery of a new death calls the mercenaries to the cold system of Obe,
Where the proud Erebus-class Titan entrusted its fate to a dark and starry way.
The seventeenth day of July froze like a shroud over the stargate’s ancient ring,
Where the goliath fell into an invisible, eternal, and terrible cosmic trap of suffering.
Out of the black rifts, like a pack of wolves, the mad Snuff Redeemers appeared in the dark,
Their matte hulls absorbed the light, like old, soot-stained, evil owls leaving their mark.
They locked the sleeping monster in a trap where the vacuum is dense, mystical, and dead,
And in the womb of the great Erebus, its proud, wounded spirit was forever put to bed.
Magnetic nets bound the giant, stripping him of maneuver, hope, and any defensive shield,
As if the cosmos itself swallowed him at the gate with a heavy curse that wouldn’t yield.
Dark gray lubricant leaked from the pistons, the frameworks of huge shields cracked in twain,
And the mystique of death circled over him surrounded by black, ominous crosses of pain.
Five million damage! The iron groaned, composing a dying and sorrowful verse for the lost,
And fate tore this false pride from the ruptured, dead steering systems at a terrible cost.
One hundred and fifty billion ISK crumbled into dust, like the smoke of censer fires so deep,
And the sky wept over this loss, and the abyss grew even colder, sinking into eternal sleep.
Through the soot on the viewport, through chains of raging, angry electrical wires and sparks,
The dying monster looked at the ambush, becoming part of the cruel pirate theorems and marks.
Its captain choked in the smoke, cursing the hour when he went out into the dark space,
While Snuffs silently and terribly broke the spine of his titan-sized hull with no grace.
The ancient stars wept when the fate of the goliath in the fire crawled to its final, deaf close,
And the flash of Doomsday dissolved in the deep, age-old, icy silence that froze.
Only char remained, charred plates and soot on the filters of pirate vessels in the fog,
Who accepted this great sacrifice under the whisper of unseen, terrible gods.
There, in a cloud of gas, a nebula glowed like an eye watching over the empty, vast domain,
And the gold of the dead hull melted, mixing with a dying, salty tear of sorrow and pain.
The hunt is over, the monster is defeated, and the ravens of space divide ruins in the dark sky,
Leaving only the memory of a proud titan that turned into cosmic dust, never asking why.
And the explosion thundered like the weeping of dying stars in this crystal, cold night,
The ruptured hull of the Titan melted, leaving only ash and fading beams of light.
The holy capsule of the victim flew into the embrace of cursed, dark, mending laboratories,
Where the mind is cloned again, and this law over the weakness of eternity rules all stories.
Dagan suffers in a loop on Anonod, and Erebus in Obe repeated this circle of fears,
For the cosmos of New Eden is an abode of suffering, mystical partings, and tears.
And Snuffs depart into the darkness, dissolving among age-old, silent film strips of gold,
Leaving the poet with only soot, rust, tears, and this tragic moment to behold.
