The Champion is Reborn

Awesome. Now we can forget that misbegotten trash ever existed.

Well, hate to see it, but… Nice hunting I guess?

Please reconsider but I doubt you will. I hope for you the best in what’s to come.

I’m late, I know, but I noticed Anyanka Funk’s demise a few days ago with no clue as to what happened, and then I just came across this conversation by accident.

The really important question here that nobody has addressed is:

How did she dare go away without saying goodbye to me ?

Alas, 'tis knowledge ye shall ne’er mine.

So…this did something? This worked?

Yeah, it worked. Behold the power of the Red God.

Behold the power of a stupid bureaucracy and a psychopath that is good at paperwork.

Indeed.

Mark another tally in the “CONCORD does something corrupt” column.

It is not intentional immorality, so really it is incompetence. Some robot with a rubber stamp was delivered the right set of documents and approved the infomorph revival without ever knowing what sort of monster they were resurrecting. An indicator of a problem, but hardly something that warrants dismantling the whole institution.

Glad to see you’ll be joining my protest, Ms Elkin!

In the meantime, if this is true then, whilst Ms Funk and I may differ on philosophy and… faith, it is always good to see a fellow Agent of the New Order return to the frey. We always need more people to fight the good fight!

However, I sincerely hope this is not some horrible practical joke meant to harm those members of the New Order that are still grieving.

That would, after all, demand punishment.

a. ‘Fray’.
b. Funk is not an Agent of the New Order, she is an Agent of Funk, who likes to join groups in order to screw with people who believe anything she says. I was happy to hear she’d biomassed. I’m unsurprised to find it’s a lie. I’m even more unsurprised to find she and Jade are trying to edgelord up her little charade with ‘behold the power of the Red God’ nonsense.

Yes, but you also believe in unicorns, a benevolent god, and a virtuous Empire. Honestly, Aldrith, you’re not exactly credible as a ‘discerning critic’.

Unicorns?

I am utterly disgusted.

Oh goody, time to be regaled of tales of terribad roams to null security and how podding new pilots is just the thing to do. Funk’s going to be as irrelevant now as she was before, just don’t feed the fire.

This thread is now about cats. What’s your favourite breed? Mine is the Ni-Kunni silver fur

There was this cat at my party I am fond of. I hope to meet her again, sometime.

So instead of evil, they’re incompetent to the point of having the same effect. Not a great argument in their favor, but I do accept it as likely accurate.

I’m not part of your anything.

One of the biggest reasons why I hate them is because their poorly-thought out, convoluted regulations and policies on capsuleers allow groups like yours to flourish.

Cats, Arsy. We’re talking about cats, babe. Get with it. What kind of cat do you like?

It’d be terribly gauche for Aldrith the were-horse to not believe in unicorns.

Harsh words, ma’am. After all, you and I are not so different.

Was it not written in your Scriptures - Amash Akura, 25:16, I believe - that “to serve, unshakably, is to reach greatness”? We both want what we believe is best for the cluster and, to that endeavour, I attempt to serve as honestly and earnestly as you do.

We just have different masters and methodologies.

Arsia’s faith is the foundation of an empire; your ideology is a thin excuse for having some laughs putting the boot into some hapless hi-sec miners.
