The Changes on Triglavian Behaviour

EDENCOM Defensive Initiative here.

This is a summary of the patch from an out-of-game perspective.

The wormhole mechanics were changed, but unfortunately the result is not satisfying for our alliance.

The LP payout at the wormhole, with its 1-hour cooldown and wave system, can remain as it is. In fact, I would even rate that part positively, because the difficulty feels appropriate for our fleets.

The main issue is this: as I already described back then in the Letter from the Future, the Hospodar Triglavians were effectively a feature for us, allowing us to generate income. It was obvious that this would not last forever, so I do not object to the patch that fixes the so-called “Hospodar bug.”

However, if I remember correctly, this was previously combined with the reload mechanic and the bastion mechanic, which were supposed to trigger new waves at the planets.

That part now seems to be completely gone, and we no longer get waves at the planets. In practice, this means you clear one wave and then wait 10 minutes for the respawn. For an invader, that may serve as a breathing window, but it is clearly not working as intended.

Please fix this.

We need larger and, above all, faster waves — meaning they should not warp in at 1 AU, but rather at 0.1 AU. It may also be worth including warp acceleration so the pacing and dramatic impact better match the invader side.

No idea what you are talking about here…but if you are after trig salvage, go into Pochven.

We run our alliance around Triglavian-related content, particularly the invasion of New Eden. This has always been a central part of our roleplay approach, and until now we have been very satisfied with it.

Our focus was never on excessive salvage farming. What mattered to us was the content itself. Unfortunately, that content is now effectively gone.

We regularly organize public fleets in which we announce and actively pursue engagements against the Triglavians. This created meaningful group content, and that aspect has now been removed almost entirely.

As I said, I fully understand that the old wormhole mechanics involving Triglavians, with income potential of around 450 million ISK per hour, needed to be addressed.

At the planets, using marauders, it was possible to earn roughly 100 to 200 million ISK per hour.

If CCP considers it a problem that players can make 200 million ISK per hour in high security space, then I would respectfully ask that the loot table be adjusted accordingly, while at the same time providing us—similar to what is shown in this Video - with three times the number of Triglavians at the same overall value.

My concern is not the ISK. My concern is the opportunity to train and prepare against this threat.

To be honest. i dont care about isk, i am talking about the content. With our proposal to triple the size of the fleet. There is enough content for all EDENCOM Supporters.

We dont wan’t to benefit, we just want our content back !

And to be honest with 3 Triglavia WHs, in one system, we would face around 120+ ships on grid, thats the content we are talking about.

Pochven content is not unfamiliar to us; we have entered that area on multiple occasions already. However, at this time it is not a primary objective for us, as our current focus lies on training pilots.

We have successfully completed three World Ark sites. From a roleplay perspective, we consider our purpose there to have been fulfilled. At the same time, our investigations showed that the World Ark ship itself cannot be destroyed, even when using two dedicated bubblers, and that this appears to cause the site to bug. This does not provide us with sufficient reason to further commit ourselves to that area.

For anyone interested in learning more, we maintain a YouTube channel where our activities are documented, including EDENCOM’s ongoing struggles and related operations.

That said, if EDENCOM-related content in Pochven does not produce meaningful results, we see no necessity to intervene there further.

How can one say so much and not address the question asked? I should have known before bothering to ask..

i saw your statement, but no question.

when quoting

How does reloading or bastion trigger new waves?

well, this is under nda. can’t talk about that.

Triglavian Werposts in Triglavia Minor Victorys also do not trigger Response fleet.

If a mechanic is in game it is not under NDA. AKA you are just full of BS like normal.
