The EVE Online Ecosystem Outlook

Sometimes this true, but Eve punishes the stupid. Are you suggesting it should be otherwise?

Othertimes we have to work harder to make a kill or lay a trap. In either of those scenarios we are no different to any other “roaming” gang and the targets they come across or content they make. Some victims will be idiots, others will be good players who made a mistake or fell for a trap.

How about safely log off after 30 min of inactivity?

Great idea tbh.

However would be nice to be able to log back onto a hostile grid and not get probed down before you load grid and re-cloak.

No, I’m suggesting that punishing the stupid isn’t something that lets you say ‘oh, what we’re doing is so hard, so dangerous’. It’s not. It’s fish in a barrel, and if that’s how you get your jollies, that’s fine, but own up to it.

That’s what you said, and it’s utter nonsense. There is less risk in what you do than there is station-trading in Jita.

Well log off in space has its risks. It’s his choice to safely log off ( AFK or not) in hostile space

I load the data from monthly report of september in the database and there are an interesting result for september,

I count all destroyed mining barges , exhumer and venture.

Nullsec: 490618
Lowsec: 428723
Highsec: 230862

Whether you agree with me or not your arguments appear to be against any form of cloaky hunting and not the topic under discussion which is AFK campers. From the “tone” of your responses I believe you are letting your dislike of our group override your ability to make an objective argument on the issue.

And what you did is removing ALL non-botted resource generation in hisec. Quite a flop!

Get a chisel out and imprint those words on your forehead, because you keep forgetting that it have to be risky for a ganker too.

You can literally live in the enemy staging with the power of the cloak, and nothing can be done against it.

This line, summarizing your entire wall of text, is proof that cloak is broken OP and should have been nerfed years ago.

Dude, I had to go and look up where your group is hunting on zkill. I don’t give a crap about your group. And no, I rather enjoy cloaky hunting. You know, where you have to go and stalk some poor bastards. Learn their routine. Learn how they react to things. Set up the attack. Take weeks or months getting things just so… and then annihilate them and start all over with someone else.

All I’ve said about what you do is that you’re perfectly safe, and that it’s not hard. And both of those things are true.

In sov nullsec, when ratting, unlike highsec:

  1. You can shoot scouts pre-emptively
  2. If you have an alt, you can immediately cyno in a standing response fleet at the click of a button, whereas CONCORD responds in almost 20 seconds in a .5
  3. DED site rats don’t warp scram whereas mission rats do, so even if you see a CODE fleet enter local, you might lose your blingboat

You’re not wrong, but the difference isn’t as substantial as many of us believe.

  1. Pve boat will lose to a scout, so no.
  2. If you have to reship, it’ll take way longer than 20 seconds. Add change of clones, 2 jumps away from staging, I’d say 15 minutes. Concord reaction in 20 seconds is superb. And in case you missed it, cyno has been removed from most ships, and nobody is pre-formed to jump to your cyno even if you have a cyno ship. By the time anyone forms, pve ship would be long dead.
  3. They point tho.

Sorry but I’m not sure what you think you did. The MER doesn’t give system sec status for kills nor is it clear what your numbers actually are.

Feel free to clarify what you are saying and how you got the numbers.

The MER is not only a bunch of pictures, but also a data file with raw info, that’s where he got those.

Indeed, I’m looking at the data file for kills right now and while there is a column for system and system id, there is no column for system security status.

Maybe you should look at the file before jumping in : )

You can grab system security status from EVE SDE.

Yes you can. Did you?

yes, I thought not.

He’s not even the same dude who made the claim. No point getting smug about someone else not doing a specific thing about a claim they didn’t make.

He’s a dude who butted in having no idea what the original dude did.

Thanks for butting in : )

He’s a dude who explained how to do something when you acted like you had no idea how it could be done. So on behalf of all of us who take the time to deal with dumbasses like yourself, yer welcome.
