Sometimes this true, but Eve punishes the stupid. Are you suggesting it should be otherwise?
Othertimes we have to work harder to make a kill or lay a trap. In either of those scenarios we are no different to any other “roaming” gang and the targets they come across or content they make. Some victims will be idiots, others will be good players who made a mistake or fell for a trap.
No, I’m suggesting that punishing the stupid isn’t something that lets you say ‘oh, what we’re doing is so hard, so dangerous’. It’s not. It’s fish in a barrel, and if that’s how you get your jollies, that’s fine, but own up to it.
That’s what you said, and it’s utter nonsense. There is less risk in what you do than there is station-trading in Jita.
Whether you agree with me or not your arguments appear to be against any form of cloaky hunting and not the topic under discussion which is AFK campers. From the “tone” of your responses I believe you are letting your dislike of our group override your ability to make an objective argument on the issue.
Dude, I had to go and look up where your group is hunting on zkill. I don’t give a crap about your group. And no, I rather enjoy cloaky hunting. You know, where you have to go and stalk some poor bastards. Learn their routine. Learn how they react to things. Set up the attack. Take weeks or months getting things just so… and then annihilate them and start all over with someone else.
All I’ve said about what you do is that you’re perfectly safe, and that it’s not hard. And both of those things are true.
If you have an alt, you can immediately cyno in a standing response fleet at the click of a button, whereas CONCORD responds in almost 20 seconds in a .5
DED site rats don’t warp scram whereas mission rats do, so even if you see a CODE fleet enter local, you might lose your blingboat
You’re not wrong, but the difference isn’t as substantial as many of us believe.
If you have to reship, it’ll take way longer than 20 seconds. Add change of clones, 2 jumps away from staging, I’d say 15 minutes. Concord reaction in 20 seconds is superb. And in case you missed it, cyno has been removed from most ships, and nobody is pre-formed to jump to your cyno even if you have a cyno ship. By the time anyone forms, pve ship would be long dead.
Indeed, I’m looking at the data file for kills right now and while there is a column for system and system id, there is no column for system security status.
Maybe you should look at the file before jumping in : )
He’s a dude who explained how to do something when you acted like you had no idea how it could be done. So on behalf of all of us who take the time to deal with dumbasses like yourself, yer welcome.
