That’s basically what it comes down to. The only way to win as a solo player in EVE, is never to play EVE solo, ever. Wich goes a long way to confirm my suspicion regarding pvp in EVE, it simply doesnt exits.
The topic of input automation I think belongs in another thread, as this thread is about my frustration towards multiboxing, in general.
As a side note I can say that I play this game enough to notice when somebody is multiboxing and I knew I was under siege by the same player. straight away In my opinion it’s not fair play, but as I have come to understand EVE, fair play does’nt exist eighter.
i have seen a guy solo a competent small gang with a nestor,
this isnt about multiboxing, this is about you getting spanked and crying about it on the forums.
that nestor was dead the moment you went down the whole with it.
No, this has nothing to do with me getting spanked. I won that fight, but he had multiplle instances of himself to play with, so he just keept on comming until I was down.
My point, as long as I play solo, there’s no way I can win against people who multibox. I DID win the FIRST fight, but he had three ships to play with against me playing solo.
Multiboxing is allowed in this game. Don’t take bling out in a WH for PVE content if you are worried about losing it.
Whether it be a multiple or three friends in a fleet doesn’t really matter much… You lost that fight because you put yourself in the position to lose the fight.
First off a VNI got tackle on your Nestor. VNI’s aren’t all that fast. You should have not been in a spot for him to tackle you. You should have been hitting D-scan a very couple of seconds and seen him coming from at least 10 AU away as well as being away from a PVE sites warp in spot.
Second, actually a second doesn’t even matter. You died horribly because of poor decisions.
And to keep claiming you won that fight is like Norway declaring war on the USA, getting roflstomped, and then saying they won becauae they had less people. It makes zero sense.
He didn’t have three friends in a fleet, and that make all the difference Yes, multiboxing is allowed in this game, but that does not make it fair towards those that chose not to.
I didn’t come here to discuss my recent losses, of wich there are many, I’m simply stating something I have experienced in this game in regards to the playing field betwene solo players and people who multibox; it’s an unfair and fixed match. Compairing multiboxing with friends playing together, and suggesting that there’s no difference is a fools proposition.
Should come to high sec, we multibox 20 guardians per a character.
On serious note, multiboxing is far from easy… have you tried pointing, webbing, bumping and keeping optimal range while setting up two guardians on grid?
No, I fly a Basilisk solo, and I consentrate to fly it well. My experience with people who multibox logi in fleet is that they are ■■■■, and dangerous for anyone who rely on them.
Here’s the thing… How would you stop this? Can’t run two instances of EVE… People would use multiple machines be they real or virtual.
Any other limit would have similar problems. Can’t use the same IP address… People g
Fake that all the time and in other cases, you limit eve to only one person in a family.
The point is, multiboxing isn’t something CCP can stop. They can limit it in some ways, but they can’t stop it. Most games can’t. If you don’t want to accept the chance you will encounter multiboxxers, you might as well give up gaming.
One ship got blown up by multiple ships. The pilot of that one ship got in a new ship, went back and got blown up again. That pilot then got into a third ship, and (wait for it) got blown up a third time.
Rather than learning from the encounter (1 ship is at a disadvantage vs. multiple ships, for starters), the pilot chooses to whine about multiboxing.
