There are so many cheaters on EVE its not funny I have never seen a game that had so many players that use cheat codes and private servers to play this game . If you google cheat codes on EVE online you will find over 20 pages of sights that have all kinds of cheat codes for this game its pitiful .When I made the mistake of doing Faction Warfare I found so many players that was using cheat codes and private servers just to get kills in the game it was not funny . Its just another example of CCP waiting to long to do there job and not paying attention to the game and whats going on in it . But than CCP no longer owns EVE online they sold out to another company so why should they care .
I am not aware of any ‘cheat codes’ for EvE. I don’t believe any exist that would go undetected by CCP.
Bots are the primary issue with in-game cheating. This is an ongoing battle and something that everyone should discourage and report. Alliances and corps that benefit from botters should have all of the assets and isk confiscated and wallets stripped. I know CCP is doing the best they can with the resources they have. People can help too.
Exploits are a bannable offense and should also be reported if you see it happening. There is a list you can refer to
Honestly, I think many people are likely to accuse others of cheating when there is no actual rule-breaking occuring. For example, you see a mining fleet that is arguably afk, and/or fleet warping around and just assume they are bots. Another is market orders that are rapid and responsive and because they beat you you just assume they are bots too. Knowledge is your best weapon. Also there is no rule against interaction and I highly recommend you interact with anyone you think is a bot. Bump their ship. Talk to them in local. Open a trade window with them in station. Open a conversation, invite to fleet… the list of interaction goes on. Ultimately you can do what I have and just blow up their ships. Confirmation comes in steps. Then report them.
Lastly, if you are unsure, just ask. NOBODY should ever support botting, exploits or rule-breaking in the game.
An empty page where people could submit cheat codes if there were any. But there could be!
“Asteroids which come first in the alphabet have better minerals.” Forbidden knowledge!
“Learn learning skills first!” Cheating.
Article from 2007 about blueprint scandal.
Article literally saying Eve is one of the hardest games to cheat at. Knowing this is cheating.
Article that says that RMT and bots exist. That means this thread is a cheat.
…
So, 20 pages of things you haven’t read.
I’d also like to know how you are engaging pilots on other servers. Special ammo? I mean, I can’t even get them to appear on my overview. What special code do I need to unlock that?
They aren’t cheat codes if CCP programmed them in - they are features. I thought only members of Band of Brothers could use them, though. Wasn’t there also a cheat code for people who bought the Mystery Code?
