Damn thought i would come back and check the forums and to my suprise eve is still alive despite all the 1000s of posts of ppl saying they quitting hahaaha.
Yeah, the playerbase seems pretty stable, too.
The public executions of capital ships in JITA at the Peri gate are really fun, more of those would be a good way to show how progress goes with the fight against the scourge that is harming the EVE player base, give us the JUSTICE of the MOB in Jita!
Station traders want titan kill mails too!

One view on that graph could make you wonder:
There are two areas of New Eden without botting , how can that be ?
In J-Space are no botters , although supposedly all J-Spacer are rich and flying blinky stuff.
In my humble oppinion is this because in J-Space is no automated intel channel[vulgo Local Chat], that I can abuse and additional I have to bring the loot[no bounty] to Jita or similar, thats to uncomfortable.
Change that, and your botting problem is provisionally solved.
But rinse repaed, CCP will not change that, cos PA needs full servers !
They only hate it for the first month but they get used to it after awhile and then start to appreciate it.
ISK Faucet from mining is called Ship insurance.
Donât forget the tax on the t2 strip miner ammo or mining drone production.
Hulkageddon was good.
Thatâs another activity. You still need to manufacture the caps to explode them and get money afterwards.
What does CCP plan to do about cloaky camping? There is a focus on afk/botting; however, it only appears that there is concern when there is an opportunity for CCP to lose revenue. Living in a region that has 2, 3, 4 or more campers in each system is a gaming mechanic gone bad. There is really no advantage to the âresidentsâ of the particular system being camped. The is little risk to the camper that can simply warp to a ping and remain logged in without risk of loss while impacting many players. There are those, Marshy for example, that have 50-100 accounts (or more) that have been caught red handed broadcasting in direct violation or CCP rules - yet only received a slap on the wrist. Why? Only a concern for a loss of revenue seems pretty clear. There needs to be something to prevent afk/cloaky camping. A risk needs to be attributed to the offending pilot to prevent remaining afk for long periods of time. A fuel component (stront) for cloaking devices may possibly work that would result in a limited amount of time a ship could remain cloaked without refueling. A deployable structure that could increase chances of combat scanners probing down a cloaked vessel. Include a specific scanning skill set to aid cloaked vessels or implants. It just seems that his gaming mechanic needs some fine tuning to limit abuse regardless to the hundreds to thousands of cloaky camper service pilots that are controlled by a few individuals that it may impact.
I really canât figure out this whole cloaky camping beef. There is another thread with millions of posts complaining about it, but I really donât understand. Somebody subs an OMEGA account and parks them in a system⌠and? So what?
There is so much empty space in this game, how is that any issue at all? I am confident that all the systems of nullsec are not cloaky camped.
You are right. Letâs remove local so cloaky campers get no free Intel.
If you are scared to death to undock because of a cloaked unknown in the system, why are you in null? Better yet, why are you playing EVE? I swear, null krabs are even more risk averse than high sec residentsâŚ
Thatâs very naive.
Most of the folks park next to ansiblex/beacon and use recognition of the colors from the overview, paired with the dscan. Local is superfluous.
Year, thats right.
But they stay at every gate/ansiplex, and (to my favorite) at any new wormhole that I open to this certain system.
Means the bot has to check periodically the number of signatures, and in the case of a delta recognize what type of signature it is.
And finally place another bot at this new entrance.
I am not sure if a script-bot can operatel the probe scanner tool.
And in addition, this bot must be an omega clone(needs a cloak device), otherwise I shoot him down at the WH
Scripting bots for mouse events/actions is not difficult at all. That coupled with keybinds, virtually every activity in eve can be scripted. If anyone really wants to get a good idea how bots work, buy a copy of Diablo 2 and download virtually any bot. You can get a real fast sense of how bots work, and how easy it is to modify scripts to behave however you want. Just donât use bots on bnet unless you want your key banned.
The only real difference between bots and scripts is the configurable options. Outside of custom made ones by people who actually make them, and not just use them.
Hi the whole country of Russia cheats by paying half the price of everyone else for Omega.
Thatâs completely stupid.
Diablo2 is a single player game that has a multiplayer part. Therefore the whole game has been decompiled, and itâs easy to integrate a program to understand exactly what is present on the game and what can be done. As you wrote after that, the issue is that this kind of interaction is easily detected and banned.
Even without decompiling, the GUI makes scripting very easy.
The whole point about referencing D2 botting is just to give people a very easy, decent, and accessible demonstration of botting.
Itâs not as if botting without injecting doesnât exist.
People that buy and/or download scripting bots are likely the ones getting banned. Your run of the mill botting attempts are not difficult to stop. The harder ones are from people that make the more sophisticated ones and distribute them to groups for farming isk/items to sell on websites. The botting scripts that arenât in general circulation.
How can I believe this when my support ticket regarding corp mate RMT have totally no feed back for 3 month? No response at all.
