Yes they really should stop iterating on things they do or change. That worked so well for them in the past and the player base never whined about it.
They should probably talk to an economist.
I think the market is being over manipulated by CCP. I’m always trying to predict what CCP’s next market interference will be before I sell, buy or produce anything. The EVE market has lost it’s own logic and integrity. Forget long term planning, now it’s all about “what will CCP do next month?”, which I think takes away from the fun of the game.

Couldn’t possibly have to do with their planned gradual end of scarcity. Nope.
Let’s rage at CCP when they do things you don’t like and when they do things you DO like. That certainly makes you look like a well adjusted person and someone people (and CCP) should listen to.

Because the “good” things they do are far too often just some kind of bait and switch tactic or have some other ulterior motives to them.
Like when they just buffed Marauders , then waited long enough for people to invest skill points and isk in getting them, and turned around and nerfed them.

They nerfed that skills.
Glad I didn’t put too much time in yet to it. Not much value in that skill now.
Even if it was nerfed, I had trained it only last year and I think it makes a difference over time.
The next 3 months should be interesting to see how various ships and fittings go on the market with prices etc.

I completely agree. I’m at level 3, want to get to 5.
But with these changes will the skill be scaled? Or be nullified?
Just thinking was it 2.5 or 2.25 before reset/restart? I could be completely bonkers s I just read the skill description for accounting before punching the calculator.

So right now with Accounting skill on lvl 5 the sales tax is showing 1.13% in-game which is very generous I think.
So Omega Capsuleers get a Stimulus Check each day this week… 235 mil ISK, not very much for my old account but I’ll take it.
Anyway, I’m sure it’ll help new players… as long as they’re Omega.
Sooo, no change to Station Interior Lights? Would really like to view my entire ship, right now the bottom half of docked ships is shrouded in shadow. Currently can’t even see Dirt Accumulation on it, let alone view the ship skins.

I thought the problem was there was too much money in the economy.
All in all, though, this is pretty cringe. Just up and handing people money for subbing, but making sure (at 235 million for the ‘event’, compared to 1.4b for 500 PLEX right now) that it’s not even 1/5th of what it’ll cost them in ISK to sub that account for a month… wow. That’s… uhm… that’s special. It wouldn’t be so bad, you know, except for that whole line about ‘remember, you can sub at any time during the event to get the money!’
Not really. The way the markets are right now, that’s barely enough to replace a Drake, let alone anything even a little aspirational. Someone out there in their shiny new T1 missioning battleship won’t even be able to replace the hull.

On one hand it is nice, free ISK, decent amount too really, especially for newbies, they may sub a month to get the money
On the other hand, it smacks of desperation, free ISK and a reduction in order fees, they so would not do that unless brown stuff was hitting the fan

Maybe after the next 3 months a lot of current material will change hands as players start to think about reducing their station hangers across New Eden.
Cause right now the market is just starting to respond and some buy/sell price comparisons are ripe for flipping until rest of the players take note of the change.
Has anyone as of yet found a single key site? If so the the signature appear as a data, relic or other sites and how hard was it to find, cause I haven’t found a single one.

Patch notes do not mention that the broker and sales reductions are temporary, that is only stated in this OP. You might want to update the Patch Notes to be clearer.
