This is wrong. They have been selling plex = game time. Once you get the plex you can resell it on the market for isk. The isk comes from some other player through their in game activity. It’s not made from thin air. A direct injection of isk into a game that functions as an economic simulator is stupid. Kinda wish they still had an economist on staff.

Seriously, No one’s getting rich off this. I would assume any veteran player has at least 235m per account worth of stuff forgotten in asset safety or a hangar somewhere whereas a new player is going to feel ecstatic about this login campaign.

Eh, they already give skill points for Omega, which is economically far more dangerous. Skill points used to be (mostly) gated by time, but injectors allowed us to trade time for ISK, kind of.
ISK already comes from thin-air in the form of missions, anomalies, etc. The real “moral peril” is providing liquidity to players who have low activity, but who knows: maybe it will incent more activity.
Can we keep the market changes? Death to the TTT, make Jita great again.

What if you’re not drawn in by the “heist,” but merely a lapsed player looking at re-subscribing via PLEX purchased… with ISK…?
I suppose PLEX inflation should track with the login reward ISK-printing inflation. But, on that balance: no particular advantage this week, to resub via PLEX purchased with ISK.
