This is a really cynical and desperate attempt to bring in new players. This is because CCP have managed to alienate the user base so much that no amount of isk will bring people back.
I’ve played for 13 years (paid account) and this is the quietest i’ve ever seen it. The industry changes were a disgrace and should’ve been shelved at the planning stage - this was entirely foreseeable.
How is this any different than offering a 10-20% discount for a month subscription?

My issue isn’t that they’re giving out ISK (■■■■, I proposed the exact same thing with my “universal income” idea some months ago); it’s that they’re locking it behind Omega status.

This abomination should have been burned at inception. That it was bullied through despite CSM objections troubles me deeply.
I don’t understand. If you buy Omega and use skill extractors, you can convert into isk? So what is wrong with CCP simply offering an isk discount? You pay full price for a month subscription, and get some isk. How is that fundamentally unethical?

They had to gate it behind omega or people would have created armies of alphas. I mean i would since its 200kk for 5min of work. btw 2b for 20 bucks already exists and is called plex.

Direct ISK sales is a slippery slope that will kind of ruin the whole point of Eve as we know it.

Yeah I think it may be a bug, I searched for the keys in the top left hand search bar and found nothing, (I used the correct name as seen on SISI, as well as various keywords) and I spent one and a half hours in lowsec and I haven’t found anything, and a friend of mine spent 3 hours much to the same effect.
Yhea i heard that guy…i think i have listen a interview … there is no project complete or succeded…and he is FPS guy … totally different game genre. its hard to understand why he is there… if its in my native country i would say he is son or brother of the owners… because only way to come that position without any reliable success or referance is that so far i know as common practice .but… what do we know yhe ? . by the way if they spread some isk from air … why did they suffered people with scarcity ?..Also so far i think big aliance leaderships already lay their hands on these sources … how much % can john /jane will get ?
CCP is really living up to the name of the release with the latest installment of SP sales:
15 Euros for 2 weeks of skill training time and an accelerator. There’s no better way to underline the theme of the release than with this pack.
There are ways to counter this.
Also, if you don’t understand the difference between trading PLEX to another player for ISK they farmed and purchasing ISK directly from CCP, I can’t really help you, sorry.
It’s ok, CCP don’t want anyone flying anything other than T1 frigates and cruisers so the “free isk” should help some.
