Why Uedama, still, lot’s of gankers to run off miners that are not in your fleet , I take it that’s the security you are looking for.

Long story short, we’re getting a little bored and want to poke the bear. Uedama, being the gank capital of New Eden seems like a perfect place to make that happen. In the words of the great Frank Sinatra “If you can make it there, you’ll make it anywhere.” And, yes… we have our own counter-ganking folks lined up but more is almost always better 
. As for April 1st, that was just a happy accident but I am rolling with it.

Will there be prizes for how much Ore we mine that day?
There are no plans for that although we will likely be doing SRP in case any ships are lost.
This is 600,000,000.
I have a a few replacemnt ships in a few locations. On the day I will reset my homestation to make a quick return to the fleet.
If I was good at math I wouldn’t be mining

Null Sec asteroids don’t contain tritanium and you cant make pretty much anything without it (tech 2 often requires r.a.m. which uses trit). High sec mining is kinda like water, its got tiny monetary value but society cannot sustain without it.
And for people who say its a bad analogy because reproceesed npc rat loot contains tritanium… fruit contains water as well (but trying to drink it as a full replacement causes other problems).
