It used to be: Football is a sport of 11 vs 11 and Germany wins.

Now it is: Football is a sport of 11 vs 11 and Germany is out of the World Cup.

How to win a space battle: boil them enemies! (literally)

Guess that missiles would be a very popular choice (can be ejected mechanically and the heat they generate is their problem, not the launcher’s). Passive defense would involve being able to jettison overheated hull sections (like using armor tiles with extremly high thermal inertia and insulated from the ship by airgel, once they’re too hot, just jettison them and expose another “cold” armor tile) or maybe just maneuver through electromagnetic fields a “shield” of magnetic particles, which would vaporize and scatter after being hit thus keeping at least half of the incoming heat away from your own ship. Actually, a thick shield of those could fool te enemy on the position of your ship, again making missiles a more effective way of delivering shock and heat damage. Also ships cold use emergency venting, maybe keeping high thermal inertia coolant around crewed areas and letting it go into space as a way to eject heat. Water could work perfectly if you jettison steam before it can convey heat to the inner hull.

Darn, the possibilites are fascinating… if we just come up with some excuse to build space warships at all.

Those above are silly products. This other one, though…

At least it works, before going to kickstarter. That’s a good point.

Those above are not kickstarter.
They are marketing grab schemes, most of them don’t work as they say they do on the patent / trade mark.
They are insults to intellectual property.

Poland won with Japan in footbal. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
I feel Japan did not want us to lose the face entirely. That was a match to save the honour of Polish football team. But its not end to Japan yet, its end for us tho. I will cheer for Japan in their next match.
