Anyway I’m gooing to bed now. Wargaming is still tinkering with the carriers situation. I feel inclined to wipe them out from game and give all money back because they’ve ended in a worse situation than where they were: from being semi-abandoned as broken to players angry left and right. Many claim that carriers have no place in a game based in pre-WW2 tactics as carriers redefined naval combat: pre-carrier ships are intrinsecally unbalanced against post-carrier combat. But probably WG won’t do anything until they feel that a) they have squeezed every last cent from CV players and b) they’re losing more money with carriers.

Anyway, I’m sailing back to port tonight. Nighties lovelies!

F.C. Barcelona is so good, so good, so good, that each now and then performs an absolute ridicule to give some hope to rivals. :soccer:

Tomorrow my boss will be grumpier than usual…

Also: a beginner’s guide to shooting stars

Probably it’s been over a decade since the last time I saw the night sky from a dark(ish) place. And one of the most shocking memories I have is from the night when I was 13 and was on a ferry sailing to Majorca and I was on the deck, walked to the fore of the ship and raised my eyes and… holy christ. It was full of stars. Stars and stars everywhere. I’ve always lived in a brightly lighted city so even in the best days there’s only a handul of stars in the sky. Nothing like the absolute dominance I saw that night.

A year ago I watched GOT Episode 1 of Season 1. Now I have access to all seasons, I re-watched it. My favorite character so far is Khal Drogo. The ending of the first episode was shocking. I’ll watch the following episodes to see deaths. According to B.I. there are 109 dead, notable characters in the show. Dang. I guess every episode one or two characters die. I am also curious about the books. Are they any good? What do you say, guys?

Time to say good night…

I watched the whole 7 seasons of GoT and plan to watch the 8th once ti’s safe to download it, I can say that it’s a good series but there’s a noticeable point when the series progresses farther than the books, and things feel differentpast that point. It has very good moments and a lot of emotions which I won’t spoil.

As for the books, well some people like them and some other think George R R Martin isn’t all that good. But since he’s never going to finish the series and GoT has already gone well past ASOIAF, I personally won’t read them. I still feel a little bitter when I reach book 20 in Patrick O’Bryan’s Aubrey and Maturin series, wondering what would have been the end of them if O’Bryan hadn’t died…

Put short, I don’t start series of books which go south at soem point or don’t have an end, and ASOIAF is one of the later.

I’m too tired to write anything but I’ll say this: they say books are always better than the films of it. Some films are better than the books. e.g. Lord of the Rings.
Good night, Yiole.

Good idea! Can we apply for a patent for you?

For instance, it may be harder for me to get in medical school for a psychological degree, compared to how complicated or easy it would be for me to get in university in sociology, which sociological science is more complex than psychology , on a psychological level, as to the complexity of the science scope.
The reason is that I am a more sociable person as I do get older.
I use to be more centered when I was younger and , while maybe less social, or sociable, at least more scientific.

Just 5 months after I stopped smoking…
This is also why chain smoking can interfere against the benefit of smoking one good cigar per year to your health, even if you don’t (or would not) emit any interference…

Yes, not all of those may be duds…
This is how a Minmatar Rifter Frigate with Artillery gun or an Arti Trasher Destroyer would work.

And now it’s time to bed. I’ve been testing two procedures to minimyze suqdron losses as a carrier in World of Warships -“squadron shortening” and “slinghsoting”. They’re a little exploit-ish, specially slingshoting, but carrier mechanics in general are so effed up that it’s just fair to exploit the mechanics and enjoy the game a little more.
