He’s English. Maybe he works for intelligence too, or military intelligence!

I was without internet for 24 hours. The reason is because I upgraded(?) my internet connection from ADSL to Cable. I don’t know yet how much of an upgrade it is ,but two days ago, the representative on the phone told me that my speed would be upgraded. I thought she was talking about fiber connection being connected to the building(VDSL+ or fiber to the node) but I was mistaken. Instead, the cable guys arrived. They installed cable to my house. They also brought a router. However, I needed to buy an ethernet cable to my computer separately. So some minutes ago I bought one and now I see that both my download speeds and upload speeds have tripled. Now I have what is considered as a standard broadband connection.

Wow with the spoilers of episode 8x05 of GoT. :exploding_head:

I can’t wait until the series is safe to download to watch it all myself!

Houm, apparently they upgraded my fiber to full synchronous and I didn’t know… 120.52 mbs download and 92.7 mbs upload, was 100/30 when I contracted it.

That happens when there is competition among ISPs in Spain. My country only has 2 major companies and they refuse to compete no matter what. Oh well. :man_shrugging:

p.s: I’m going to wear my thinking cap and say that with low upload speeds, the deep state doesn’t want us to upload pirate stuff. That’s why upload speed is so slow.

Possible but you also need relative hardware to run over 50 Mbps, even 25.
I used to get 75 (Mbps) at best, and this was often throttled down.

The upload speed was usually less than 10% of that dowload speed, although it differed.
It was good enough to stream live audio video feed to Twitch without too much problem.

I still have to update my BIOS, but even after finding out, I still didn’t update it.

I am also supposed to look for an external video card adapter for laptop, which I had found before , around 3 years ago, and that I never come around to finally buy yet. It was only around $80 + tx.

It costed me only around $35 a month or so though.
I think it was under $50 a month, including the tax or with the tax included.

Cleaning Schitt factory… It’s a fact and noting but the truth.
If you ever wondered why that this is some of the stuff they don’t teach you in school…

So, let me get this straight…
If the judge and the crown gets ripped off on their car, whcih is automated automobile, as in automated mobile system, even before the mobile cell-phone from Mexico got into the business of selling automated programs on a computer hardware system, and they try to rip the people that get charged in courts, because they don’t know how to solve the problem with their cars to come to court?
What does that tell you about ethics of the system?
Why would an analyst have to study about ethic of a system, or , of the legal system?
What about enforcement?
What about the strenght and quality of the weld on the metallurgic structure?
Doesn’t this happen before they start putting asteroid metal into cars or cars in space, even if with space pants?

There’s been an interesting AMA at Reddit with jestertrek (ak Ripard Teg).

An interesting bit is when CCP decided to watch and eventually ban Erotica1 out of concern that he would eventually drive some of his victims into suicide and that would hit CCP. And yet it took months before CCP actually acted…

It’s good for investigation.

Read it here:

His NDA from CSM8 is over and he’s winning EVE so it won’t matter much even if CCP bans him over the AMA. Certainly his opinions on devs, management and development won’t make him friends.

(But anyway, who didn’t knew already that CCP Arrow is a (redacted), that “It will be iterated” means exactly the same as “of course I still will love you after having sex” and that CCP top brass is really, really, but really out of touch even with their own employees?).

Yes, they asked me to make backdoor into my inventory programs, however, I explained to them why, with good laws, it would not be necessary.
I also don’t offer intelligence free work for free without getting paid for it and getting valid warrants for it even if they threaten to interfere against my rights to copyright for the work I legally create and have full rights to even if I have to enforce those rights from another legal authority.
However, if they want to pay for me to consider analysis of the value of the intelligence work, then, I may consider to agree with the payments to me.

Also, 8 billion toilet when everyone goes at the same time, that would quite a volume to filter.
It would also take a very big fridge if everyone dies at the same time…

One of my uncle, my sister’s Godfather, used to have a automated vending machines for his business, and he apparently got robbed twice for it, and it was published in the newspaper, because police caught the robbers the first time they did this to him and his employee.
The 2nd time, they also robbed his car on top of it.
They work pretty good though, the machines keep the money, and he only had to go and collect the money from the machine as well as to reload them (aside from securing other rights and insurance for the business).

At 18:48, they use sulfuric acid, which sulfuric acid was used at my last work, at 13% to 20% concentration with water, and used an electrical reaction to bond with metals and anodize it.
