I’m going to sleep earlier today. Last night I tripped over a sofa and today when I woke up my toe and foot were hurting… they’ve been hurting all day and I think my foot is swollen. Maybe some muscles got strained in a weird way, but I hope it’s better by tomorrow… otherwise it’s gonna be trouble if I can’t put on my shoes and go to work. Or, can put my shoes but not walk. Or if it just gets worse enough to warrant a visit to a doctor, something I want to avoid.
To the doctor I go. I’ve barely slept last night and my toe has decided to not hit the ground, rather point slightly upwards and hurt like a mofo when I stand on my feet. Medical emergency telephone says it might be a fissure but X-ray will tell. This means going to ER at my assigned hospital… without shoes.
