Guess I can call it autumn at home, eventually. I started the week wearing a t-shirt and no trousers at home and I am ending the week with tracksuit trousers and a t-shirt on top of a u-shirt. If temperature keeps going down I’ll replace the t-shirt for a sweater and that will be almost “winter mode” at home.

As my wife and I lay in bed together, I felt the tension in the air. She then folded her arms and huffed, “You never make the first move.
“Jesus!” I said as I rolled my eyes. “Every night it’s the same thing.”
“Well you don’t!” she moaned. “It’s always me and quite frankly I’m fed up with it. And before you start, it’s nothing to do with you being black.”
“It is,” I said.
“No, it isn’t,” she said.
“You know what?” I said as I jumped out of the bed. “You can stick the f****ng chessboard up your ass.”
Finally got around to upgrade my 9 year old CPU to an AMD Ryzen 2700x. Holy cow that thing’s a beast. Workloads that brought my old i5 (first generation) crying to its knees get this one to just idle around at maybe 20%.
I CAN FINALLY PLAY X4!!! Right after beating X3: Albion Prelude campaign on Dead is Dead mode 
Time to go to bed, with the end of summer daylight saving time, tomorrow I’ll be careful to check the actaul time with a clock (when you wake up early, you get used to gauge the hours with the daylight from outside).

I used to have a Disney songs cassette at some point in the early 90s. It was full of famous songs performed by children. This song was in it too.
EDIT: Of course the kids version of those songs were heavily censored. Just FYI.
Many things I remember from listening in my childhood are either weird, unfindable, or embarrassing. But also my father listened (and listens) to music everyday so I got free epx posure to endless music themes. Obviously I shared some tastes with him (on others we’re like night and day, since I can’t stand jazz) but eventually I too found a taste of my own. My thing with house and other types of electronica is mine and only mine (albeit built on the foundations provided by my father and his interest on classics like Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis). Also, in the specific case of Depeche Mode, we got he bug simultaneosuly when a friend borrowed my father his DPM CDs, which back then were an expensive-ish thing (imported stuff and such). I dind’t memorize what was the first thing we listened of that (for us) unknown band, but probably it was the album Construction Time Again as I remember its cover.
