Good night, lovelies.

But it’s bed time for me. So, no pizza and specially no dance!

I don’t remember if I have said this before,but:
In order to find your Elizabeth Bennet, you first need to be a Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy… and vice-versa.
Good morning, lovelies.
…and it comes with the special advantage that robot dog won’t pee on the wheels!
And now I’m off to bed. I stayed with Civilization V longer than supposed for no special reason, just was having fun pushing turns foward.
Nighties lovelies!
Also: OK, I’m a bit late on this, but… happy first centennial, Dr. Asimov!
Happy 100th birth anniversary to him. I have his 7 book Foundation series on my e-reader. I don’t know the reading order yet. I googled it and many people recommend to start with the original trilogy…That’ll keep me busy…provided that I finish reading The Bridges of Madison County , first. I should update the book thread. I don’t know what happened to it. I hope it didn’t get locked.
Good night, lovelies.
Segaway to the future.

I love it already, only needs some upper portion of that egg so rain doesnt pour over you.
Bender is a very anthropomorphized character.
Yes, you better start with the original trilogy. They might look a little long on the teeth as you might have read similar stuff a thousand times… but they’re of the original space opera, they contributed to shape the genre. The other books are good, but he wrote them for money after he already had spent decades writing anything but SF. The original trilogy is what he became famous for, goes straight to the point, character development is optional and never uses 5 long words if 4 shorter words can do the job. He told stories and was good at telling them.
Self-balancing vehicles were, are and will always be a dumb idea. Anything whose natural tendecy is to fall down, will fall down eventually.
But bicycles are a good idea because you can always use a leg and stand on it.
Or just use more wheels!
Good night, lovelies.

Data existing forever? Or maybe thru billions of years guaranty for data? Imagine human being quantized in such a way, we would be living nearly infinitely! Could colonize whole galaxy in such a form!

Hackers claiming to be from Iran attack US government website

Then the EVE Online client started updating, as if by accident.
The thing is, what kind of accident is it, and how did it happen, and what happened?
How much analysis do I have to make before I can find traces of external influences with the same timing?
Not that I am worried much or that there should be any concerns about it, maybe it is more like an opportunity which may go unchecked, or, better left for some other intel system to use…
