Good monring LAGLers! Dunno why, today YT has recommended me a clip from the 1984 film “Threads” by BBC. Positively scary sh*t and the godfather of realistic approach to nuclear armageddon. I have memories of having watched “The day after”, which was a pretty disturbing thing to watch as a teen, but “Threads” is just so much worse than it. It still bring effin’ tears to my eyes and makes want to roll under the blankets and beg for being at ground zero if it ever happened.
Not cool YT, WTF did you recommend that to me? It’s sunday morning and the only nuclear fussion event going on it’s 150 million kilometers away…

Looks like another twist on the ekranoplane, with exactly the same drawbacks: unusable in anything but flat , empty land and difficult to maneuver. Won’t make it past silly prototype phase.
