The solution is unknown, because we ourselves do not solve it. Its always a lot of things going on. We can predict, but in the end we will be just cogwheels, even those who think they are pulling the levers. Thats my observation.

My eyewear is by far the most expensive thing I wear on my body… each lens was in the 200-250 € range 13 years ago and last time I checked (before being diagnosed with cataracts) the estimate was of about 300 € per lens depending on the maker and subject to the availabilty of the cylinder size fit for my graduation. My three latest sets I splurged on high refractive index glass, my current ones are 1.7 glass because back then 1.8 glass was only available through Zeiss and was horribly expensive. Next ones wil be 1.8 or maybe 1.9 but first I’ll have to do something with my cataracts and so far I’m still not distressed enough to have surgery…

This is my last post in this forum. I don’t see the point of it now. Don’t need it when all the important info are on some other websites, CCP devs and ISD don’t care about what players post in here and most of the threads are rehash of other earlier threads where, like them, members only bicker for nothing but their ego. Don’t need that negativity in my quiet life.
This thread, The like and Get Likes, is the best I read on this forum and that’s saying a lot.

Yes, I’m aware of it, but I’m 49 and since intraocular lenses might cause issues and need replacement anytime between 5 to 20 years, I’m not exactly sold on the chance of having my eyes operated again at 70…
…losing the abbility to read books will kick me into surgery, though, and I’m already struggling with what so far is “lack of enough light”.

Now i don’t remember my PC build but with the exception of a Toshiba HDD which went kaputt my current computer is the same I ordered as a custom build back in 2015. The screen was changed because the original one had a very unfortunate encounter with a wall and i’m on the third mouse, but everything else is almost 8 years old (assembled in november) and still runs the games I expect it to run. And lets me shitepost here, which is of course why I bought the computer two years before I won EVE and EVE went F2P in a completely unrelated event.
