The woman who saved my life with her book and documentary back in 2007.
I wonder how @Yiole_Gionglao 's doctor visit went?
Good night, lovelies.
Live long and prosper.
I have an appointment with the doctor next week to check the results of he heart tests and the blood test, along with checking my hypertension (which looks under control since last visit when I was prescribed a new medication).
I can’t think of any book that changed my life i itself… of course there’s many books I love for different reasons, but very few have shaped my life and none as a direct impact. FAI, I like the novel “Papillon” since it helped me find a way to explain to other people my view of my life, something I serve as people serve prison without choosing why or where or how or when, yet life the same as prison, has an end, an exit, and it’s not forever. Accidentally, I find the idea of eternal life disturbing… I mean… am I supposed to endure this sh¡t forever? Seriously? Wasn’t enough while was alive, then must keep on with the same when dead? Disturbing… even upsettling.
Anyway I’m off to bed. I’m still alive and life is a lot more comfortable when we sleep. Nighties lovelies!
Also: on March 6th 2021…
He also led he team who developed the compact disc. His creations while working at Phillips changed the way we experienced music. The casette tape was the incarnation of “carry your music with you”, the abbility to build your own musical experience by recording and then playing back on your car, a friend’s home or eventually yourself with the invention of Walkman. And CD heralded digital music and portable mass data storage.

But some creatures may have to live anyway.

Ethics or moral philosophy is a branch[1] of philosophy that “involves systematizing,
defending,
and recommending concepts of right and wrong behavior”.[2]
The field of ethics,
along with aesthetics,
concerns matters of value,
and thus comprises the branch of philosophy called axiology.[3]
Ethics seeks to resolve questions of human morality by defining concepts such as good and evil,
right and wrong,
virtue and vice,
justice and crime.
As a field of intellectual inquiry,
moral philosophy also is related to the fields of moral psychology,
descriptive ethics,
and value theory.
Value Theory =
Cost-Benefit Analysis / Return-On-Investment (ROI).
Three major areas of study within ethics recognized today are:[2]

Turns that I’m closing in to having played 1,200 hours at War Thunder, according to Steam. Haven’t checked how long has that taken, but it’s well above the 800-ish hours I’ve put on GTA Online. The funny thing is that I don’t really like WT… wouldn’t recommend it… but guess that sunken investment is a thing on why I keep grinding the neverending road to the Leopard 2A6. Used to be the 2A5, but they added the A6 and actually Spain’s Leopard 2AE are inbetween both series, they’re uparmored to A6 standard but keep the L44 gun from the A5 series initially purchased. After finishing the grind of the German tree… dunno. Might keep grinding the Russian tree, maybe, or take a chance with the US tree since American hardware (in the hands of other players) is a PITA in every level.
Anyway, I’m off to bed for the day so… nighties lovelies!
Also: raise your hand if you’re old enough to have played some of these MS-DOS games…

The reason they try to make the computer seem as if it didn't work is because those are the same people who try to hack my information system and Electronic Data Transaction System, such as those used for transaction money and keeping records of those transactions of money for accounting and evaluation purposes.

Software Engineer and Apollo Guidance Computer Enthusiast
1:43
… three seconds later, Houston came back
and gave Armstrong the go to continue.
Shortly after, another Program Alarm
occured, this time, a 1201.
And another, and another,
and, another.
1:49
In total, during
the Apollo 11 Descent there were five
program alarms and restarts. _The last one,
just 2,000 feet above the Moon’s surface.
1:57
There could not be a worse time in the
flight to have computer problems.
2:04
Now, at the time, the press, gleefully reported,
how Armstrong seized manual control from
a crippled and failing onboard computer
(similar to how users try to take control over what I write, as if it was failing and crippled, although, they try to divert about how they try to make it seem that way, and, how they try to make it seem to be that way, when it is not, and also, couldn't be further from the truth...)
2:13
and managed to heroically and
single-handedly land the spaceship on
the surface of the Moon
(...they try to misrepresent my work, to try to credit others while trying to justify to discredit me, and hope my inventory program won't integrate their discrediting as if it was not electronic warfare, or, that I could not engage against them in electronic warfare as they try to do onto me.)
2:19
to all odds.
2:21
Nothing could be further
from the truth.
Yes, Neil Armstrong was an
outstanding and brilliant pilot
2:30
but the
Apollo guidance computer worked
(...as for those who try to credit themselves to discredit me, to "guide" others, while in fact, deliberately misguiding them about me, and deliberately misguiding others about themselves, and making falsification of report about those things, and, about computers and how they work.)
2:32
flawlessly in this mission and every
other mission that it flew.
2:39
This was thanks
to pioneering hardware and software
design principles which were used to
make the system robust against any
failure, no matter what happened.
2:48
And
those design principles, although pretty
revolutionary at the time, now form the
basis of all sorts of highly reliable
software that we use every day.
The first thing I think I actually played in games was Super Bubble Bobble cabinet arcade somewhere at the sea shore in an arcade house. It was in nineties.
Some people specialize in lack of understanding and how they sell it to their friends who buy in to their lack of knowledge while trying to capitalize against those who have better and more effective knowledge to control the capital +engage in market capitalization against them.
Today on #NationalK9VeteransDay, we honor military working dogs! #DYK that on this day in 1942, the Army began training its K-9 Corps in what was then known as the War Dog Program? The Army wouldn’t be the same without our K9 counterparts

Rise n’ grind – it’s spacewalk time. On March 13, NASA astronauts Victor Glover and Mike Hopkins will set their spacesuits to battery power at 7:30 a.m. EST (12:30 p.m. UTC) to mark the start of a 6.5 hour excursion outside the International Space Station.
This is not the duo’s first rodeo. They’ll be building on system upgrades from their Jan. 27 spacewalk, as well as servicing the station’s cooling system and communications gear.

I’m reminded of the book “Tuvalu or Bust”, a memoir of Richard Feynman’s friends taking the trip he always wanted to. The lady on the train was serving cups of tea. Turns out she was only swishing the dirty cups in warm water, ensuring everyone on the train got the same bugs…
–
And it worked! Everyone in the party got a sore throat, and nobody got deathly ill. It was an unintentional variolation.
Obviously I don’t recommend it.

The first videogame I played was on my uncle’s Sony MSX, can’t remember the title. Also played Commando on a friend’s Spectrum 128. On PC… I don’t really remember what was first. I played different things back then 28 years ago. Wait, 28 years? OMG I’m old!
Anyway I think I’ve learned a lesson with War Thunder: never play on new version day, specially if they’re adding top tier stuff. This calls back uberveterans and life becomes hell for bad players like myself… today after three days, guess ubervets got everything they wanted and so I’ve been ROTFLstomped only once. Whereas on patch day, I was ROTFLstomped in more than half the battles, and over two days I gathered 3 victories out of 24 games.
And now I’m off to bed. Nighties lovelies!
