Each Space Shuttle Main Engine operates at a liquid oxygen/liquid hydrogen mixture ratio of 6 to 1 to produce a sea level thrust of 179,097 kilograms (375,000 pounds) and a vacuum thrust of 213,188 (470,000 pounds). ~ Jul 16, 2009

The size classes range from inland or coastal tankers of a few thousand metric tons of deadweight (DWT) to the mammoth ultra large crude carriers (ULCCs) of 550,000 DWT. Tankers move approximately 2.0 billion metric tons (2.2 billion short tons) of oil every year.

Subclasses: Handysize, Panamax, Aframax, S…

Capacity: up to 550,000 DWT

Time to go to bed. Nighties lovelies!

Also: huh… a Faraday cage for WiFi routers…?

I’m struggling to figure why would anyone want something like this. Why not just turn off WiFi on the router? Or, if they need WiFi on a very short distance, why not just use a network cable? :woman_shrugging:t2:

I’m still playing War Thunder, but just started with airplanes. Tank gameplay is godawful (consists of going places and then being one shot by some a-hole with 50,000 battles under his belt) and horribly grindy but earlier airplanes are fun and not-so grindy. I have no illusions about how it will become once higher BR (Battle Rating, WT’s tier system) are open but will enjoy the ride while it lasts. I need some PvP to burn my stress and that means having some effin chance to not die before accomplishing anything and even, each now and then, frag someone…

And now I’m off to bed. Nighties lovelies!

Also: no, the world is not like you think… neither how 86% of people think

I’ve got 4 wrong answers* on my first run, then answered them all correctly after learning the right answer. It’s quite interesting.

Just finished rewatching the OTA “Royal Space Force (Wings of Honneamise)”. I didn’t remember much of it and strangely remembered stuff that’s not in the film (like the rocket guys testing engines under water and measuring whether they reach enough power or not… I’d wear it was from this film).

Anyway I’m off tobed. Nighties lovelies!

Also: Hayabusa 2’s sample capsule is back on Earth!

Now the capsule with samples from asteroid Ryugu will be open in a controlled enviroment and samples will be distributed among participants. Meanwhile, Hayabusa 2 has been redirected to an extended mission to a second asteroid and a close fly by of a third one, at least until 2031.
