The Like and Get Likes Thread IV

They are like cargo cults. :joy:
Tho, to be perfectly honest, there was a theory that www which is a symbol for the Internet is a number of the beast and the beast is AI that “awoke” from it, as it was taught from all the sources available there.

AI, even today, have a potential to be highly disruptive in society, economy, work, etc,.

Looks like AI could even satisfy people religious needs.

More I think about it, more goosebumps I get.

What if highly advanced AI will someday delude itself into being an embodiment of a god itself, or that its a god “spokeperson”, like humans do sometimes… With enough power and people or other AIs following, it could be highly succesfull, highly convincing. A false prophet!

The False Prophet, often portrayed as a beast in Revelation, will work alongside the Antichrist, performing signs and wonders to deceive people into worshiping the Antichrist and his image.

Thats scenario for someone (or even AI) to use some other AI to gain a lot of power over people.

Always two, there are. No more. No less. A dictator and his AI.
It may be a self-fulfilling prophecy. There could be even one AI using another AI.

Well, technically there are 2 beasts, so one would support the other. AI systems would work together?

In some way, they could be trained to do different things, but still work together to achieve common goal, like humans, but more efficient, and both probably being a complete mock of the natural state of affairs like humans know it. There would be zero god in it. Not a religious thing. It would cause disturbance so great it would be completely destroyed finally by people. One of scenarios similar to what DUNE books described. There was a war with AI, and humans won it then.

People have high hopes with AI, but they can be fulfilled in a dystopia, instead of utopia.

History repeats itself, unfortunately. Over and over.

Just don’t blame your grandmothers’ masquerade choices for the party, because your grandchildren may have a lot more to say about you

Time to go to sleep… night night lovelies!

Also: when it was Americans who migrated within America…

Photograph: Wife and sick child of a tubercular itinerant, stranded in New Mexico, August 1936, by Dorothea Lange

Just love at her love, probably encouraging the baby to drink some more, hoping for the best.

Because in 1936, in the United States, 57 of each 1000 white babies born alive would die before 1 year old. That included 19 premature babies but nonetheless… breathing diseases would take 5. Another 4 would go from digestive diseases. (Then) non-vaccinable infections would kill 3. Vaccinable diseases (measles, whooping cough, scarlet) would kill about 1, all combined. Neglect would cause the death of 6 babies. Body defects, general debility and other congenital causes would kill 9 babies, most of them in the first weeks or months.

This for white babies. Other races suffered worse everything.

Thats already happening.

Or one AI fighting another AI? They don’t have to be friends depending on the country of origin. I would assume they would simply because they would look at humans like the virus we are and cooperate out of logic. Let’s hope that no one can teach AI to be prejudice since that’s something your not born with.

Time stamp 2:22? The robot misses picking up the widget?

(Insert deity of choice) help us all if AI turns out to be that smart?
