As I said in the video games thread, today was Valveā€™s Half-Life 2 game 20th anniversary.
It was such a big deal back in the day. It was a milestone for video game world.

@LordOdysseus I donā€™t know what game is that, never played it.
I was more into the City Builders in my teens.

I find that fascinating

@Geo_Eclipse_Oksaras I do too. Itā€™s horribly gross and icky yet I canā€™t detach my eyes from it. Definitely not something you can unsee. Like a crocodile or shark eating someone alive, scandalous yet fascinating :scream:
I will not provide a picture this time to spare the feint of heart :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Do you mean like every Peter Pan cartoon/movieā€™s ending where the crocodile swallows Captain Hook alive?

It was a breakthrough game. Just like SimCity2000.

 Yea kind of like that except with more blood and bone-cracking sounds.
I cannot go further than chest deep in the water when I go to the beach because I donā€™t want to be eaten and even at that depth itā€™s dangerous.
I have arachnophobia and agoraphobia but what is it called when itā€™s sharks?

I remember that game. I preferred CitiesXL myself.

Wow, I never read that word before, never even heard of it. Thank you, Geo Eclipse.

! Uhm, where is it you do massages, Geo, a Halloween haunted house? Why would you need to watch cadavers for massagesā€¦ wait, am I even supposed to ask?
Why do I feel confused now? :face_with_diagonal_mouth:
Iā€™m in a train right now and people are looking at me weird. Why do these things happen to me?

Medical videos that go into great detail how nerves pass through or shows muscle detail and movement in better detail.

I have a reel saved on my phone of a cadaver and showing how the meniscus actually moves

Galeo is greek for shark, figured id look it up for you

Thank you, Iā€™m not so good at Googling. The only reason I know about arachnophobia is the movie and a friend of mine told me about agoraphobia when I told her Iā€™m afraid of crowds. Only reason I remember it is because I know about the word agora which is a store or market.
Talking about market, we went to one of the biggest markets in France yesterday, Les Halles de Narbonne. It was epic!

This is what I was concerned with, gathering more resources for more of elves and dwarves and ents in my army:

I didnā€™t know there were Ents in a video game. I love Ents! What game was that?

Good pizza, too! :pizza:

They were in HoMM3

Here you can see all of the creatures there:

For some reason they were called Drzewiec (Dendroid) and Ent in polish version that I played.

The tree is very emotional and likes to cuddle. And once it cuddles, it wonā€™t let go. Which can end very badly for the cuddled one, because the trees are overgrown and difficult to cut down. They are also slower than the dwarves, but what can you expect from a tree?
