A lot of viewers may dislike the ending but for me it’s the best ending . Gihun is already dead inside when he won the 1st season. Gihun is not that innocent. He killed a lot of people specially in the 1st seasons tug of war. He just paid his due in the third season to redeem himself.

For Me Squid Game depicts a game about “Humanity”..
Gihun and his Friends won their Humanity..

We also have our rl bets: Our future lives depends on it.

1. If theirs a One True loving God, Humanity will be rewarded

2. If theirs no Loving God, It doesn’t matter what we do, good or bad..

I’m betting on the 1st choice.
