But you said you were shocked a woman can do it. Why is that shocking? Even I can do it, and I’m not a woman, so I still don’t get the shock response.
Time to go to sleep… night night lovelies!
Also: toys are overrated…

“In Spain, adults work and children go to school. Here in Peru, adults can’t find a job, and we’re so poor that even children have to work” - Guinder Rodríguez, 11 years old stone breaker, from the documentary “La espalda del mundo” (The back of the world, 2000).
I watched the documentary many years ago and never have forgoten two of the stories in it; this one with the boy who worked breaking stones (breaking larger boudlers with fire from old tires, then hammering them down to usable chunks) and attended a night school, and the one about a Hispanic inmate in the death corridor in Texas. His mother said: “what have we done? Why does the justice system punish our family, killing my son, killing the brother of his sisters? Isn’t one death, one shattered family, enough of a tragedy?”. Back then I already had switched fields about death penalty (from pro to against), but oh boy… that documentary hit hard.
This was so depressing that I had a very hard time giving the like. ![]()
This wouldn’t happen in america as the adults would be able to get jobs by identifying as children

…and then I made it worse sharing a bit more of content…
today I was just browsing unused photographs and noticed I hadn’t used yet the Navajo girl, and then that reminded me of the stone breaker boy, who reminded me of the death corridor inmate…
Tomorrow I’ll post something lighter, I promise. ![]()
It is not that bad actually, I’m going through an immense amount of overcompensation for a lack of passion for all these years and failures and attempting transformation of several lifetimes into a very short period of time these days and my candle meme I posted above might be unsettling for some as a result(and my previous posts such as the lentil soup & “the menu” film’s cheeseburger scene video). I intend to share something in the Self-Help thread in regard to the Whiplash movie which won 3 Oscars and 100 more minor accolades. I hope I get as many replies and experiences shared as possible from various people(including the CCP workers - if not it will still be ok) tomorrow and onwards for that thing I’m about to write.
Never heard of it.
No worries.
Also, I’ll write that reply about Whiplash movie to the Self-Help thread later.
And we’ll leave today on an uplifting note from this image:
Good night!
EDIT:
For those who just in case are adamant about devastatingly negative stuff, here’s an award winning short story to read:
“The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas”
by Ursula K LeGuin - from The Wind’s Twelve Quarters
I would leave the city.
I walked my own path in life no matter what the consequences. Sure, it hurt but was well worth the satisfaction I achieved. Life is short people. Live it as hard as you can and learn from it what you can. You will never get another chance…
When you reply to something I said declaring that the topic ‘‘went into a territory’’ of a show I’ve never heard of, then I don’t know what you mean by that sentence. So – what does it mean?
Be thankful…
I didn’t say that. I said :
It is a comedy TV show back in 2000s where a carefree jingle writer/composer has his recently divorced, timid brother and teenage son moving in to live with him. The show does a great job exploring the area of sex, without going NSFW and without involving the teenage son.
Funniest TV show I ever watched.
p.s.: It received 9 Prime Time Emmy Awards. But awards mean nothing. Watch what you want to watch instead.
I like you all
The best way to show this is to like all of Zaera’s posts and to send her 1 billion isk , now and on a regular basis ( atleast once a week )
Now if you are wondering whose posts to like first, well Zaera asked the mirror on the wall, who is the most important of them all, and the mirror replied ZAERA
