Photograph: Farm worker couple with their twin babies at the FSA migratory labor camp at Wilder, Idaho, 1941, by Russell Lee
Farm hands would move from state to state, following the harvest seasons, trying to scrap some money together and keep going. The Food Security Administration had a double task, in one hand, ensure that the US produced enough food, in the other hand, ensure that the people actually doing the work didn’t starve or suffer. Photographers like Russell Lee or Dorothea Lange would go on comission from the FSA to record the life of the dispossesed, many of them farmers who lost their lands to the Dust Bowl, the financial crack of 1929 or other misfortunes.
Here you can tell the mother is proudly in love, and the father is concerned, because two babies meant buying two of everything and not being able to reuse anything once the children grew out of their clothes or shoes.
Benjamin Franklin’s letter.. Brings to mind of how many have paid for that whistle in the game. Rushing to get into a tech 3 ship paying top Isk for the ship, all the modules, and such. Only to get blown out of the sky 2 minutes after undocking. Then coming on to the forums to post a rage/quit. Expecting sympathy for paying to much for a whistle.
Men are exceptionally beautiful! They’re the most beautiful creatures on this planet!
And it’s not just the looks. Men have beautiful personalities. They’re beautiful inside and out.
Well Zaera stopped on a deserted road to give a lift to Ted Bundy who was stranded at the side of the road.
He asked me “How do you know I’m not a serial killer?”
I replied, 'The chances of two serial killers being in the same car are astronomical**.**
Earlier that night though, I picked up another hitchhiker. After about a mile, the hitchhiker pulled out a knife and told me , I’m a Frostpacker, I’m going to steal your car. So I hit the brakes , opened his door and threw him across the road into a tree breaking his arm (we vampires are pretty strong).
The moral of the story: Don’t hitchhike. You never know who is going to pick you up.
Pardon me Mrs. Vampiresss I do believe that Ted Bundy was just the cover story of whom he had claimed to be and was either @MB_ThePhotographer or it could’ve been @LordOdysseus who you allegedly happen to offer a lift too.
I didn’t know him personally, so I can’t say. He wasn’t much of a looker in my opinion, and no idea if he was charming. But looks aren’t personality traits, so I wouldn’t throw that under ‘good’ anyway.
But I’m sure he had human qualities, he just chose to ignore them and gave in to his baser nature. He wasn’t evolved enough as a human being. That didn’t elevate him in any manner or form. He could have been a better person through better influence and cultivation of his abilities. Why he chose to be a murderer and rapist, I have no idea about that. Serial killers don’t interest me, you’d have to consult a clinical phychiatrist on that one.
