Also: this turned out better than expected…
…in an unexpected way; the location is fictional but Dall-E on ChatGPT got right the kind of low raise buildings prevalent in the broad geographical setting of the image. Also in my completely inexperienced opinion, it makes a convincing Hugo Pratt impression.
(Then, after way too many prompts, those silly AIs still don’t get “her head is bowed down to sip from the straw but is NOT touching the straw yet”, which leads to ridiculously long straws)
Honorable runner: Nano Banana on Gemini, whose main complaint is that it haves exactly ONE face for every redhaired girl prompt.
Not bad but seriously Copilot… you had the same prompt as ChatGPT! But, cool eyes…
PS: ChatGPT really did a great job with the geographical setting, even the low hill to the right of the image makes sense, the only failure is that buildings further back should be the usual 6 an 8-risers of Barcelona… and there isn’t a third skyscrapper nearby to the twins by the sea. Well, there IS a building like that, but would be way to the right and behind the hill.

Will just make a special post to acknowledge Yiole’s efforts to bring us to AI imagery through the somewhat thick skull of AIs and their odd roadblocks and hallucinations.
Also will remind her that there are yet another three girls in our (formerly) space faring family, the Fock sisters and the buxom blonde… what was her name again…? Oh yes, I think it was Teacup…?

Well, I’m beginning my tries with highly detailed prompts… which I am afraid will crash and burn horribly. Or maybe don’t. Anyway that will e tomorrow, now I’m off to bed, so… night night people.

Well, I’ve been tinkering with new and improved prompts… I’m not quite liking Yiole’s hairstyle “in real life” as compared to the portrait, guess I will tinker with it, but so far facial accuracy is good enough. And now I’m off to bed. Night night people!

It’s been three weeks working on different prompts, then adding face details, then arranging the details in a more palatable way for the AI to understand, plus technical details and negative prompting to avoid CGI-ness…
So now the girls moved from shopping in Milano to cycling on the Via Ciclopedonale at Limone sul Garda. Why? I’m just taking ideas from my job, found out this elevated cycle path for people and bikes exist and since it’s nearly flat and about 5 km round trip it just was a cool place for the girls to explore. I kind of feel Yiole is too big and I’m not sold on Ishtanchuk’s body, but I’ve seen way too many versions of this scene and written way too many words about it so I’m calling it a day.
Whatever is next will not feature headgear so the hairdos will be put to test…
