What’s the price for my very own Zaera Keena? Got to be way more than just 1 bil.

Frankly, the less you ask from AI, the better the outcome… just let it fill the gaps. My first shot at introducing the B team (that would be Lea-Marie and the Fock sisters) has turned quite well. It reeks of photo shoot because everyone defaults to looking at the camera unless otherwise instructed but seriously… don’t they look awesome? As if someone had searched for a) what Caribbean island acts as trend setter and b) based on current trends, what outfits wold suit better to three women of different physique and complexion and c) hand picked of the different options those that looked more promising on text?

And then just gathered all in a prompt and…

The Fock sisters look fine and Lea-Marie is astounding but… well… as per lore, she’s a retired child soldier and shouldn’t have that sense of fashion, seriously.

Anyway I’m very pleased with how this test shot captured the physical dynamic of the Focks: Matilda C. is taller, slender and darker, whereas Cecilia M. is tall but not as much as her sister, certainly curvier and has a feature hard to notice here: striking amber-gold eyes and a tendency to freckles.

And now I’m off to bed. Tomorrow I will completely spoil the image with crazy requests like have the girls looking at the kitty and will ponder what to do with Lea-Marie’s outfit.

This is a deepfake fake news lie. I would never smoke around my goose.

It looks like a photo from Vogue.

It certainly has been easier than have three people playing cards and interacting emotionally with each other…

It’s not a deepfake, Anna. It’s a memory you blocked out after that wild night in Jita

Oh no, I went even crazier. I actually added lipstick to the prompt. And then the image just failed in ways never seen before, like missing hairdos, turning Matilda C into severely underweight, get two women crouching instead of just one… why, AI? Why?

Now I’m off to bed. Night night lovelies!

Also: to each their own…

You can ask A.I. that question. I have asked it and i some cases it looks like A.I. is just trained that way, it can have specific rules when modifying already provided images, so you would have to find another A.I. that can do it, like searching for another artist that work suits you more.

Time to go to sleep, or try to… night night people!

Also: life was heavier before the plastic jug…

Photograph: ā€œSardaigneā€, a girl fetching water from communal fountain with a traditional clay pitcher. Sardinia, 1954, by Edouard Boubat

Plastic jugs and larger vessels like plastic demijohns made a silent revolution when they made their way to communities without running water: available in different capacities and weights once filled so they could suit children of different ages, difficult to break and cheap to buy, these humble vessels dramatically increased the availability of water to hundreds of millions worldwide.
