Speaking of which, guess what’s on Prime? A bit of a hunk. He doesn’t need to be telepathic to know what I’m thinking about…

Time to go to bed, sleep and preferably don’t dream… night night people!

Also: so much tea and none to drink…

Photograph: Men laden with Brick Tea bound for Tibet in Sichuan, China, 1908, by Ernest Henry Wilson

These men would carry loads in excess of 100 kg of brick tea, tied to a wooden structure that allowed to rest the weight on the ground. The whole journey along the Tea and Horse Road lasted several months and each lap could be up to three weeks long; the carriers would bring with them all supplies needed and specially spare straw sandals as the roads were unforgiving to footwear.

Another day, another night, another time to go to bed, another chance to try and sleep and rest. Night night people!

Also: times have changed… somewhat…

Photograph: Two Jewish girls await deportation in Munich, November 11th 1941

They were deported along with some 1,000 other Munich Jews to the Kovno Ghetto (in Kaunas, Nazi-occupied Lithuania), where they were all shot. Jewish people were about 0.8% of the German population in the 1930s.

Yes, but it can never top our last night. I didn’t realize you were that passionate and in paramount physical condition. These guys are lucky to be in your presence, goddess.

Also, how often do you come across a 2 hour guy anyway?
We didn’t even need the box because you came prepared.
For those who were wondering what she got(the least of what she deserves):

I wonder why did they choose that shabby hut as background for the picture… but given that we don’t even know who of the King’s 80+ children is this one, maybe he was born to a less liked wife?

Why did the egg whites refuse to fight the cream of tartar?

Because they knew they were whipped from the start and didn’t want to get into a tart argument!

…so, as it turns out, the AI agents of doom STILL are stochastic parrots, just that instead of stochasting themselves into “the sky is… (99.9% chance=blue)” they stochastise themselves into sending a software command to an external tool to get what should be a right answer.

They don’t think nor do anything resembling thinking. And when they fail, it’s a glorified software bug with a limited self-replication ability.

Just companies are allowing those bugs to interact with real software doing real things which is reckless but oh boy what headlines, publicity and investment they produce!

…and now, in another episode of AI slop nobody asked for, this is dedicated to the two times I ended caught under a storm without an umbrella in the last ten days as we had some funny weather in my city…

Here, Yiole the Bestest Friend in the Universe has get out of their hotel with an umbrella and gone to the rescue of the Fazmarai cousins, meeting them miserable as stray kitties and wet as drowned rats…
