I never heard of Pyrokinesis. I looked it up and itâs very interesting. Maybe she is one.
But more likely it is a camera trick where it looks like the fire is close to her but isnât.
Although if thereâs a strong breeze it could burn her.
That is correct, Ogun! Thanks for digging her up.
The witch was also a Pyrokinesist.
Here is a brief origin for her character in the Hyborian world of Conan.
âAll her life, the Crimson Witch has been searching for blood powerful enough to summon her master, the god Razazel, back to Earth.â https://comicon.com/2019/11/04/learn-the-origins-of-the-crimson-witch-in-conan-the-barbarian-10/
Most of the antagonists in Robert Howardâs Weird Tales were witches, warlocks, demons and monsters who were worshipped as masters or gods. The world of Conan was no different. His arch enemy was Toth Amon, a dark wizard and a recurring villain in Conan series of books. He appeared in many adaptations of Howardâs tales. Thoth-Amon was a wizard from the lands of Stygia who held the moniker âThoth-amon of the Ringâ. A very nasty and dangerous character.
They are things you can take with you everywhere, because these people were hunter-gatherers and their belongings had to be light and not very big, if they were to move with them. It is very common in modern survivalist communities to reduce your equipment to bare minimum even now, keep it light also.
They werenât entirely nomads as they stayed in caves and tents but generally you are right, they moved about quite a bit, probably to follow the roaming of animals.
