Time to go to sleep… three days after having cataracts surgery, my left eye (already operated) needs new eyeglasses and since it can’t work together with the right eye and its lens, I am wearing my old glasses with the spot for the left lens taped so the left eye doesn’t sees through and I use what’s left of the right eye for anything requiring corrected eyesight. So far i’ve discovered that cataracts are yellow and murky since that’s what my right eye sees compared to t he left one… which would feel like super HD if wasn’t that it’s still myopic and I can’t read with it. But oh boy, is the world white and bright! And all the colors, they look like brand new! On the 27th I’ll have an appointment to check the evolution of the operated eye and probably will get a prescription and make new eyeglasses, leaving either a blank glass or a opaque cover for the right eye until it’s operated, which should be as soon as possible in the public healthcare… surgery for the left eye was decided and requested in november so it’s been about three months wait time, the second surgery usually comes sooner, specially with working people. Night night lovelies!

Best of luck and hope that it all works out with you. My wife had cataract surgery and is better for it. She still wears glasse, but are not even close to the strength that she had to wear before the procedure.

It’s so great to be able to see. I remember when I got my eyes zapped with an off-label procedure. My vision is better than it was with glasses. I was freaking out the first month, because I’d look at a street sign 400 yards away and be unable to read it before I realized you’re not supposed to be able see that far away

Had the wierdest dream , got married to @Iceacid_Frostpacker.
As a Doctor of Gankotherapy , going to give myself therapy as clearly gone nuts.
Frostpacker is hereby fined 1 billion ISK for entering Zaera’s dream uninvited and fined another 1 billion ISK for taking advantage of her.
But you are bald Frosty. What you should get is a a hoover for George’s tail.
