The Like and Get Likes Thread IV

She looks so happy!

I went there. Saw the stars on the sidewalk and watched The Avengers at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater. I had a great time.

No worries, I didn’t pay anything

Wanted to go tothe states in the past but not so keen nowadays with all the hatred, poverty, politics, homelessness, drugs, crime etc.

What attracted me initially was how big america is, with infinite potential to do whatever you want , wherever you want but that appears to not be the case.

You can always log in with google account. You will pay nothing, if you expend free tokens it just switches you to older model with chat messages or stops generating images when you ask for the graphics. You get more free tokens next day tho. Of course if you really like it you can pay something, but if you are not an AI geek or researcher or use it in work, you dont really need it.

To be honest , we don’t really need anything other than food, water and attention.

If by “attention” you mean friendship and intimacy then I agree, but I would also add shelter and clothes because it gets really cold here.

I went there several times but I have a friend who lives there so he knows where to take me and where not to. Basically, you have to stay away from big cities, they are dangerous and dirty. So far as I’ve seen and really liked, I recommend Flagstaff, Crystal Bay on the shores of Lake Tahoe, Eagle Nest in New Mexico is well situated to have all sorts of fun, Austin and San Antonio are ok, the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee are gorgeous ( Dollywood theme park isn’t far from it and it’s a blast ), St. Johnsbury in Vermont is a cute town and Washington DC is just fine to visit monuments and museums. I plan to go see more, like places in the state of Washington, Montana, Wyoming and the Dakotas. Again, only the small places where there’s fun to be had.
I stayed in New York for a week… I hated it. The only reason I was in L.A is because he lives there so we start all our trips from there.

Again, it depends where you go.

Correct me if I’m wrong but you and your family are from Spain, correct?
A Germanic tribe crossed the Iberian Peninsula via Gaul on their way to North Africa around 400 AD. They must have mixed with the locals there and passed on their genes just like they did in the Maghreb. That’s why some Arabs have red hair and blue/green eyes.
Now, some Arabic people are really tall, especially those from Saudi Arabia, Quatar, Oman… and many of them migrated to North Africa as well. And a good portion of Spain was occupied by Arabs for a long time so there must have been some mixing of genes there too.

I think Eve Portraits is going to go bankrupt or will have to innovate somehow, not that I’m affiliated with them in any way. Just pointing out the obvious.

I didn’t know that site existed. What purpose does it have?

Oh, I do have a Google account…

…hadn’t used it since 2017…

…but inquiring minds WANT to know! Indahmawar really haves an Asian vibe, like you could meet her anywhere in a number of SEA cities)

(Why do they don’t recognize the eye color? Yiole was missing her blue eyes, Indah is missing her green eyes… Ish incoming next, will she keep her signature hazelnut eyes?)

Hmm… more Asian than Latin American, definitively too small on the chest, but nice smile. Will try with an older portrait and that-will-be-all, I swear…

Not gonna share it. It definitively has something against busty women…

They make photorealistic portraits of EVE players, with variations, but they charge ISK for that iirc. They still have their use, but not for too long if the AI world is going at this rate.

I went to the website and all there was is a list of portraits and dates, and the names weren’t even in alphabetical order. There was nothing else on that page, no link, no info, no promo, nothing.

True. A.I is going to render lots of things obsolete. Hopefully A.I can replace all those crooked politicians and bureaucrats who leech on the peoples of earth.

Mohammed was recorded—frequently and at great length—as fair-skinned and red-haired

Also, early Muslims, including men, dyed their hair and beards in reddish hues to distinguish themselves from others.

It has nothing to do with Islam. It’s a tradition and it’s called Henna and has been used since the Bronze age ( B.C ) in marriage ceremonies, feasts and holidays throughout the Middle and Near East. It was also used in ancient Egypt on the dead before mummification.

I think A.I, in the right hands, would be more benevolent to our civilization than these corrupt sacks of sh- who can do whatever they want without repercussions.
Now if A.I falls in the hands of those government criminals then yes, we’re all screwed and…

Very true - Zaera is impressed with your knowledge.

Thank you.
I live in Europe, there are lots of people from that part of the world or their parents/grandparents here. My first boyfriend’s family was from Tunisia. I learned a lot from them. For exemple, Muslim women don’t cover their head because of Islam, it’s a tradition that was twisted into Islam by controlling Muslim men. That’s why when you look at Iranian women in the 60’s very few of them covered their head even though they were Muslim.

Last time I checked, the first written records of my father’s surname were from the 1530s in the region of Champagne, which isn’t surprising since it haves a French vibe to it and that side of the family are fair skinned blondes with blue eyes, with the oldest known ancestor dating to my grandfather’s grand-grandfather who was from a place in the province of Alicante.

But I do look more like my mother’s side and people tend to agree that I look kind of Croatian, so maybe that side of the family arrived in Spain along with the Vandal invasions (the first known ancestor was my grandfather’s father, who was from a place in the Pyrenees, whereas my grandmother’s family was from Aragon).

Coming from humble background, there’s not much of family history to check for…

The most exotic thing in my family is a cousin of my mother who married a Scott woman… obviously they married in Scotland, obviously he wore a kilt with her clan’s colors and obviously they live in Spain where the weather is far, far better. They met in Germany while learning interpretation (like, for live translation of meetings) of German, in Germany. Last time we heard of them, they both had jobs related with the EU so they were doing pretty well…

And now I’m off to bed. Night night lovelies!

Also: it was completely another time, in another place…
