Instead of a long post, I gonna write a short version, I read the long version and it was boring.

I was in a meeting and I used EVE as an example of why Python is bad and got my argument thru, meaning I got what I wanted.

End of the post.

Obs: Nobody at the meeting knew about EVE, lol.

What are you advocating instead of Python.

Coz it is bad, but so is most everything else.

hahahaha, I’m not advocating, I’m giving a hint of a possible motive something in another Thread happened. Remember YT Google engineers about YT code? Today it’s mostly Java/C++, Python only goes so far. The kid was smart and sold that ■■■■ in time.

Most people use Python for quick prototyping or even less critical stuff, even xAI.

But for critical software, I always go with compiled established languages. The industry standard is C++ for games.

Some whitespace sensitive scripting language best forgot.

Unless I’m wrong and there is a C++ snake.

Totally unrelated, but let me use this space, I never excused Ruby for using snake casing, major lame decision. Even if Python gets better, that snake casing should be burned into oblivion.

Python is good, very good.

I just cannot afford one, they seem to be sold at prices over a trillion ISK.

I mean, it’s not my problem how they do things, but the amount of bugs are indicating their technical debt is kinda high. Yesterday my drones bugged in a way I never saw before.

Then PA dropped them like hot g, I just tried an hypothesis nothing more, everybody is free to do their own thing. There’s probably some kid earning more money than me programming scripts that won’t hold for 6 months.

Who cares? I’m just scared how they gonna push the product now, it may get better, or it may get worse. I theorized PA decided not to absorb, and the reason may be such a different stack.

I’m wondering if you even understand the difference between Stackless and Python?
