That ccp introduces more competitiveness into the game can hardly be called a bad move, especially when looking at the bounties, where FRT scores the highest numbers in bounty income (Vale of the Silent), not counting the income they receive from similar activity from their many renters. If pilots within the same alliance start squabbling over ISK/hr, perhaps they are on their way to learn a fundamental truth, and ccp should dry wash their hands.
On the point of faction ships, OP makes a good point. Plus the Praxis and Gnosis are the new plague and certainly do not support any aspect of player driven supply, as these ships are seeded by ccp.
And no, OP, not everyone needs to be living in null currently, or be a part of FRT and its main activities, to understand anything about balancing the economics in the game itself. A disagreement on the methods used is the opinion of non-devs, after all.
