I decided to log into EvE again, after having been away from the game for nearly 10 years.
I have been following the game, loosely, but hadn’t been playing.
Looking around to figure out the new interface and figuring out what have change and trying to remember where I put all my stuff, I opened the personal asset window, and there I saw it in bright red letters:
-1.0 Kaunokka IV - Moon 2 - The Convocation of Triglav Semiosis Theater - 235 Items - No gate-to-gate route.
How do I get my stuff back? Are that even possible?
What is the story of those Triglavians. How do you deal with them. Are they just like standart NPCs or should I just let it slide under the rug called; Don’t park ships you cannot afford to lose
The Trigs disabled a bunch of gates thus stealing a bunch of systems which are now connected up in a Triangle with trig gates.
Trig rats are quite hard, there’s also drifters, edencom and drones in Trig space.
You can get to Trig space via wormholes or filaments, there are ways of working out where to look to find the wormholes, and the filaments will take you (and some fleet mates) there and back in a predictable way.
You might need some standings with Trigs to dock, so you find a drone site in trig space and kill, or even just TP one, then wait for the standings tick.
The entities that shaken the eve universe. Best expansion ever plus the scarcity with real life pandemic. That era is so chaotic, nothing comes close yet.
Your stuff is safely stored within the same station it’s always been in!
Getting it out to a new system might be a challenge though as the system (and stations within) has been claimed by the Triglavians and is now part of the Pochven region.
Players can enter Pochven not via gates, but via filaments and wormholes. You can do some research on it to get used with Pochven travel before attempting to extract your goods.
Luckily your goods are safe in the mean time so you’re in no hurry to do so!
Since the important posts were already made, the core question: YES.
You got stolen, but you can have it back, not for free, not without any effort.
What are tigs? Well, for some they are content, for others they are harassment. It’s hard to get a consensus. CCP kinda abused the situation to destroy assets for reasons, they can’t resist the idea people are going to buy PLEX because they got their ■■■■ destroyed by some NPC that is not only ultra powerful, it’s also not letting you pass thru, for reasons. I guess that worked very nice for them.
I hope that answers the subjective part, the objective part is already answered by others.
Since you haven’t played for a long time and some random event happened that got your items locked in a much more dangerous space than when you left, submit a support ticket and ask GMs if they can move your stuff. Of course, explain the situation to the GMs.
This was the WORST ever…ccp had no control over the roaming fleets, they killed noobs everywhere…it was simply badly done…i personally know of 3 newbros that ragequit after being killed 3 times without even being able to do anything because of being oneshotted in a frigate. ‘Best ever’, ‘nothing comes close’? How old are you? 12?
Although I think the trig fleets that spawn from wormholes are dumb, (the minor victory ones are fine; you get a warning before entering) you’re not getting a refund because something you didn’t like happened in-game.
You obviously talk as a member of the fanboy bubble…ccp can do nothing wrong and critic is hate…90% of the opinions about the roaming fleets at that time were NEGATIVE…bring it back? Never in a thousand year. HELL captains quater had a better standing at that time than the trig roaming fleets and you actually KNOW how bad the reputation of captains quater was(for whatever reason).
No i’m not part of the fanboy bubble, i’m part of the bubble that enjoys it when EVE is a harsh place to live, like it was always meant to be, trig fleets created an environment where you needed to pay attention to what you were doing, where you were going and to communicate with other players to avoid getting blown up
CCP has done a great number of things wrong over the last 22 years i’ve been a player, but trig fleets weren’t one of them IMO
There was only ONE reason to set the trig crap live: CCP did not liked the statement that players made against pvp… they called it ‘not enough destruction is made’ and tried this way to actually FORCE the players to play the game like they thought it had to be played which failed spectacular… Less pvp was made and LESS ‘destruction happened’. You can not actually try to force your customers into your desired direction by creating podklilling npc just because your playerbase does not do what you like…In fact after that they made their first ever evaluation how the player base actually looks like and - surprise surprise - according to ccp’s OWN evaluation pvp is just a 1/4 MINORITY in this game the other 75% do other things like pve, industry a.s.o. I can imagine how surprised ccp was by that and the fact that they rowed the trig boat backwards after that and did not came up with another idea was proof of that…the players just REFUSE to see this as ‘a pvp game’…something the 25% minority states until today in ‘discussions(if you can call the smacktalk the pvp bubble does a discussion)’, which is, was, and will ever be complete bs… I’m very sorry but THIS are the facts…
