Third Party App Question

Genuine question: How does this third party app not break terms of service? It is a 3rd party app that offers a very huge tactical advantage over anyone who doesn’t use it. That in itself is a huge violation of the terms of service.

“We do not endorse or condone the use of player-made software or any other third party applications or software that confers an unfair benefit to players. We may, in our discretion, tolerate the use of applications or other software that simply enhance player enjoyment in a way that maintains fair gameplay. However, if any third party application or other software is used to gain any unfair advantage, or is used for purposes beyond its intended use, or if the application or other software violates other parts of the EULA, we may fully enforce our rights to prohibit such use, including player bans. Please use player-made or other third party software at your own risk.”

Hi Deydrania,

Thanks for your question — though I think there may be some confusion here.

This is our recruitment post for our corporation and doesn’t reference or require any third-party software beyond a basic Discord server for social coordination and fleet comms, which is fully permitted and widely used across New Eden.

As it stands, I believe this may be a case of wires getting crossed. Did you perhaps reply to the wrong post?

moved this to a new thread as it was off-topic in the recruitment sub-forum.
