TO Crowd Control Productions, CSM & Eve Community

I doubt you read past the first paragraph. And went on going ahead bashing me.

If I had to troll, I would not write 3 pages to begin with addressed to CCP Hellmar , CSM & Eve Community.
And I know this is not enough; that I would need data from both eve-who and zkill and quantify it across a 3 months time lapses.

You have not made any meaningful discussion to the thread and I am trying to repeatedly tell that RETENTION IS A PROBLEM THAT GOES BEYOND NEW PLAYER EXPRIENCE

Go and ask Ali Aras , Seleene or Gobbins, they will all agree on that.
I am not here crying about how CCP nerfed my playstyle 3 times over & over. I am not here saying “Mining is deas” or “Eve is dead”
I am talking about a very basic thing that has to be seen through multiple levels and faucets.

And this issue is critical and important. Last year , Crowd Control failed to deliver Project Nova & as a result , Pearl Abyss decreased the contract value by 225 Million USD

The purchase price that the South Korean game company Pearl Abyss pays for CCP decreases by 47% from what it could amount to - from 425 million US dollars, equivalent to more than 54 billion ISK, to 225 million dollars, almost 29 billion ISK. This is stated in a news item in Viðskiptablaðið today.

The reason is that performance-related criteria in the operation did not work. Pearl Abyss bought CCP in 2018 and 225 million dollars were paid out immediately, but 200 million dollars were conditional on CCP’s results in 2019 and 2020. It was reported in Morgunblaðið a year ago that the owners will be from the performance-related payment for 2019, that is 100 million dala.

If both the community & the company can solve it which they try to do every year at an Iceland summit , eve will become much better.

Its not : “Go do Tutorial, Go do SoE Arcs, Go find a corp and shoot rocks/people/npcs”

Its about finding a playstyle and sustaining it.Whether solo or in group and it comes tied with a very complex system of incentives that I EXPLAINED AND TALKED ABOUT.

I have worked for 2 years on this issue because I genuinely care about Eve. Retention is not a problem of past or future.
Its a continuous problem that is polymorphic and will present itself in many forms and ways. Any solution applied to a continuous problem becomes outdated after a certain time.

Go ahead and bash me further while I genuinely “try” to improve the game. Keep calling me a troll or a keyboard warrior.

Ok.

So, instead of keep repeating for the 100th time that player retention is a polymorphic problem (i think they got this, you don’t need to repeat it each time you reply here to someone) and spin around the subject like a politician , would you care to share your solution(s) for this with us ? And here , I mean real solution(s) , not generalities you’ve already told us. Real , actual working solutions that will fix this problem.

Wait…I thought we were talking about a platform here. Now it’s a game?

It is not me repeating myself. It is me explaining over and over again the same thing to different people .

Neither were those generalities.
I will provide a real solution in the future. It has to be data driven and keeping the trade-offs in mind.
