Probably many of you have never heard this name. His best films were ‘Running on Empty,’ and ‘The Mosquito Coast.’ The latter most closely resembled his real life, being a victim of David Berg’s ‘Children of God’ cult sexual abuse. That his life turned out how it did, while predictable, is still tragic.
