[Tool] ARGUS – see where the gate camps are before you undock (live 3D/2D map, jump planner, intel)

ARGUS is a free, live map of New Eden that runs in your browser – for everyone tired of juggling Dotlan, zKill, intel channels and a jump calculator in six tabs.

What you see the moment you log in

  • Every kill as it happens (zKillboard), on a cinematic 3D map – or flat 2D if you prefer the classic look
  • Gate camps and fights detected automatically – a red wedge even points at the camped gate
  • Sovereignty in alliance colours, traffic, ratting, incursions, faction warfare, Thera & Turnur connections
  • “When is it safe?” – a weekly heat map of when a system actually sees kills

Route planning that knows what’s going on

  • Gate routes that avoid camps and hot systems, with gank risk for haulers and your alliance’s Ansiblex gates
  • A capital jump planner like Dotlan’s – but with live danger, war targets, fatigue, fuel and cooldowns
  • Blue landings: ARGUS finds the own and blue citadels and cyno beacons your alliance may use (and known cyno jammers) and can plan jump chains that land only there
  • Send the whole route to your in-game autopilot with one click

For you, your fleet and your corp

  • All your alts on the map at once
  • Alerts for kills around your ship, on your route or in watched systems – in the browser, as push notifications or to Discord
  • Intel channel reader: turns your intel chat into map markers (parsed locally in your browser – the chat text never leaves your PC)
  • Fleet view, corp markers, an ops board for formups and timers, structure fuel and attack alerts, moon timers
  • Clones and assets on the map, jump range bubbles, battle replays
  • Works on your phone, in English and German

Privacy, straight up

Sign-in is CCP’s own SSO – ARGUS never sees your password. No wallet, no mail, no market scopes. Your location is only read while you have the map open and is never stored. “Delete my data” wipes everything in one click.
Every scope and what it’s used for: Privacy – ARGUS

It’s free, and it’s growing fast

ARGUS is non-commercial and we ship updates almost daily – most of them come straight from player feedback. Tell us what you’d want from a map like this, right here or on our Discord: EVE Argus

Update – what’s new in ARGUS since launch

Thanks for the feedback so far – most of this came straight from you and our Discord. Here’s what landed in the last two days:

Scan intel, right on the map

  • Paste a D-scan or your local list – just Ctrl+V anywhere on the map
    • D-scan is grouped by hull class, with warnings for bubbles, capitals, supers and cynos and an on-grid filter
    • Local is sorted into own / blue / red / neutral using your alliance’s standings, grouped by alliance, with a 0–100 threat score per pilot from zKillboard
  • SHARE turns a scan into a link your fleet can open (kept for 30 days)
  • OVERLAY opens a small always-on-top window, so you can paste scans while you play without alt-tabbing

Capitals and logistics

  • Cyno search: ARGUS checks which of your alts have Cyno Field Theory trained, where they are and what they’re flying, then assigns one alt per cyno spot so all of them are in position as fast as possible. One-click SET DESTINATION for each alt.
  • NPC stations in the system panel, with their services. Jump freighter and black ops landings show when an NPC station is there.
  • Import your Ansiblex list from the clipboard – in-game names, English or German. It’s shared with your alliance; a structure scan replaces pasted gates once it finds them.
  • The capital planner now opens as two windows (settings and plan) that you can fold, drag and place side by side.
  • Corp structures overview reworked: fuel bars, one block per system, and “needs attention” only shows up when something actually does (under attack, reinforced, low fuel, service offline).

Interface

  • A Neocom-style icon bar on the left opens and hides the panels (capsuleer card, kills, route/jump planner, D-scan, structures …). Hidden panels keep running.
  • Invert zoom for the mouse wheel (LAYERS → MAP)

Been playing around with it for a bit this morning and honestly this is really well done.

The gate camp detection alone is worth it. Seeing the little red wedge pointing at the actual gate instead of just “something died in this system” is exactly what I always wanted from zKill + Dotlan without having to piece it together myself. Same with the jump planner, having fatigue and live danger in one place and only landing on blue citadels/beacons is a big deal for anyone doing logistics with caps.

As a director I also like the corp side of things. Structure fuel warnings and moon timers showing up on an ops board saves me from checking three different spreadsheets and pinging people on Discord.

And credit for the privacy page. Most third party tools just throw a wall of scopes at you and hope you click accept. You actually list every scope, what it’s for and how long stuff is kept, and the intel reader only sending the parsed facts instead of the chat lines is a smart call. That makes it a lot easier to recommend it to corpmates.

Keep it up, will definitely keep using it. o7
